The theme of my thesis is the role of securitization of assets in American sub prime crisis and following global financial crisis. The trend of securitization was putting through on financial markets in last decades. This trend played important part in the beginning of crisis and also in its spreading in other countries and other industries of economy. The goal of my thesis is to reveal the role of securitization in the contemporary crisis, show its impact on financial markets, point out its risks and propose the possibilities of its future development.

Analysis of mortgage loans and factors affecting their development

This work focuses on mortgage loans and the mortgage market in the Czech Republic. In the first part, mortgage loans are outlined from the legislative viewpoint, their parameters and means of financing. Furthermore, the most common types of loans, state aid during debt repayment and individual phases of the mortgage process itself are analysed. The second part focuses on the mortgage market in the Czech Republic, affected by the financial crisis in the U.S. and other credit risks, over the course of the last few years. The final section characterises a model subject. The subject tries to gain a mortgage loan for housing needs on the basis of processed information from previous theoretical sections, and to select the right type of mortgage with favourable conditions, based on appropriate selection criteria.

Banking secrecy in an international context

The work deals with the principle and purpose of banking secrecy laws and legislation in the Czech Republic. Compares the operation of the laws governing banking secrecy in foreign countries, emphasis is placed on states with strong protection of banking secrecy, which are often called "tax havens". It examines the coherence of the protection of banking data in combination with other benefits of tax havens.

The purpose of the work is to present the banking system of Belarus and evaluate it by comparison with the Czech banking system.Formally, the work can be divided into two parts - descriptive and analytical.In the first part there are characteristics of the banking sector in Belarus at the present stage of the country's development.In the second part is presented advanced analysis of the banking sector in Belarus and its comparison with the banking sector in Chezh republic.

The work deals with international accounting standards and defines the standards governing the particular accounting and reporting banks. I wanted to give as faithful picture of the situation in the banking sector after the introduction of International Accounting Standards. I came to the individual effects, I disassembled one of the most important standards and outlined their positives and negatives. In conclusion of my work I assess the current situation of banks and possible future developments of financial reporting.

Mortgage and real estate investment

This bachelor work is concentrated on problems with mortgages, which are available on area of Czech Republic. The first part is focused on theoretical summary which includes characteristics, gaining conditions, possibilities of settings and other features of this specific bank product. The analytical part is divided into two chapters in which a fictional model subject will perform. In the first chapter there is monitored Czech mortgage market by selected banks and at the end of the chapter there will be chosen the most favourable mortgage for the subject according to selected parameters. There is also evaluated an importance of choice of these parameters. In the last chapter there will another model subject judge, how could be profitable to invest in real estate (a flat) with the mortgage support. The subject expects a rental income for given period and after that an income of selling this real estate. The purpose is to find out what the return on investments will be in selected regions according to given conditions.

Regulation of insurance in the Czech Republic

The work deals with the current conditions and developments in the field of insurance regulation in the Czech insurance market. Initially, the issue itself needs and merits of regulation. Then analyze the insurance contract and the rights and obligations arising therefrom. Among the most part are the conditions change the conduct of assurance business. Within this section are not only insurance and reinsurance, but also the activities of insurance intermediaries and independent liquidators claims under a separate law on this issue in 2004. Then followed the issue of supervision of insurance companies, and its development activities, carried out supervision body, which was recently amended. Is also included cooperation with the EU, including EU projects show the insurance industry for the near future. Finally, on the basis of the preceding description of an evaluation carried out development of the regulation of the insurance market and future prospects in the coming years, which is going primarily from dominance of European legislation in this area in recent years.

Bakalářská práce hodnotí provozní strategii novinového stánku v Jihlavě a navrhuje její změny. Teoretická část se vztahuje na historii novinových stánků ve světovém kontextu, vhodné marketingové nástroje a klasifikaci novinových stánků dle OKEČ. Praktická část se zaměřuje na vybrané problémy této jednotky - sortiment, zákazníky, umístění, komunikační aktivity a distribuční cesty, přičemž je nejen hodnotí, ale především navrhuje zlepšení s ohledem na požadavky zákazníka. Práci uzavírá týdenní statistické pozorování zahrnující počet zákazníků, kolemjdoucích a strukturu prodaného sortimentu. Práce je doplněna četnými fotografiemi a schématy.

Analýza bankovního sektoru ve vybraných zemích východní Evropy

The thesis analyzes the banking sectors in selected countries of CEE region, in particular in Albania, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina and compares their development with the Czech Republic as it is CEE country with one of the most advanced banking sectors in the region. Three parts of the paper analyzing separately each of the countries are supplemented by country comparison and final conclusions. General development, development of banking sector as well as banking market and financial performance of banks are examined. As a conclusion, all the countries develop in a different way and with different starting conditions. Albania relies more on qualitative development with low absolute figures but high relative indicators with respect to the utilization of available resources. The development in Serbia is rather quantitative, in contrary to the situation in Albania. Bosnia and Herzegovina is progressing quite ambiguously also due to uncertain political situation in the country. It can be also concluded that all the three countries still have to go a long way to reach comparable level of their banking systems with the Czech Republic.

Bank security instruments

In first chapter this work describes security instruments which banks offer to their clients. In second chapter it deals with state credit support, and security instruments in it, and also compares the situation in Czech republic with the situation in a few ex-Yugoslavian republics. In the last chapter work points at possibilities of short term export financing.
