Inovation of measurement equipment used for analyzing of photovoltaick cells
Otépka, Jakub ; Bača, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of a tachometer which is used to measure and display of mechanical aperture speed of a measuring equipment for the defect analysis of solar cells using the photoluminescence method. This work is divided into three parts. The first section describes the principle of solar cells, the principle of luminescence radiation and its types. Next the defects of solar cells are analyzed. The second part discusses the theory of tachometers, the principles and methods of loading pulses. The third part is then analyzed the design and construction of the selected type tachometer.
Time changes of the photovoltaic cells properties
Kvapil, Jakub ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Novák, Vítězslav (advisor)
The thesis is about the problematics of perovskite, production of perovskite structure and measurment of photovoltaic cells. The introduction deals with material properties and sctructure of perovskite. There is explained a problem of perovskit photovoltaic cells and production of perovskite structure. Then the measurement methods are explained, which are used for evaluation of photovoltaic cells properties.
Design of a photovoltaic power plant for a family house near Jihlava
Dvořák, Vít ; Maule, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of a photovoltaic solar power station for a specific family house in the Jihlava region. The aim of the work was to get acquainted with technologies about the production of solar systems, evaluate the market in the Czech Republic and create a design of photovoltaic solar power station. Three designs of power stations were created with the help of the PV * SOL design system. Each design uses different photovoltaic cell technology. The result of each power station design is a complete finished project, which is based on many factors such as the efficiency of the entire system in a certain location, financial analysis, return on investment and more. In addition, these projects meet the conditions for the preparation of the subsidy program Nová zelená úsporám. At the end of the work, all three designed power stations are evaluated and with the help of multicriteria analysis, the best and most advantageous power station design for the given locality is determined. In the end, the idea of further development of the project is presented.
Influence of conductive ceramics on the life of lead acid batteries
Tobolák, Jakub ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Bača, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is focused on lead-acid batteries used in hybrid electric vehicles. These cells work in specific conditions, particularly under partial charge referred to as PSOC. This fact is responsible for the premature loss of capacity cell lead-acid batteries and their short lifetime. The task of this thesis is to examine the effect of conductive ceramics as possible additives to the negative electrode active materials of lead-acid battery cells operating in a PSOC, in order to prolong their life.
Interactive 3D Terrain Editor
Hulva, Jiří ; Vanek, Juraj (referee) ; Přibyl, Jaroslav (advisor)
The purpose of this work is to design and implement an interactive 3D terrain editor. The application should be able to create three-dimensional model of a terrain from input data, display it and allow free movement in displayed scene. Users should be provided with tools for editing heightmaps and surface textures. There should be option to load models of objects, like buildings or vegetation and place them on chosen locations.
Motor controller UMC100 training device
Janáček, Martin ; Vaněk, Jaromír (referee) ; Dohnal, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis conserning motor controller UMC100-FBP by ABB s.r.o. shows usage possibilities of this technology for 3-phase asynchronous motor. For demonstration was laboratory task designed and developed. It shows serious defective states of motor in practice. Construction plan and electrical diagram were made in AutoCAD and Inventor Professional.
Microphotovoltaic systems
Nováček, Richard ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
Master thesis deals with photovoltaic components and their principles. Evaluate the types of photovoltaic systems and their impact on the transmission system. The thesis deals with financial support to small and micro-photovoltaic systems, which can be used in terms of legislation of the Czech Republic. There are also described the changes in the amendment to the energy act and effect on the price of electricity in households. Compared with the domestic photovoltaic rest of the world and the view of the German energy concept. Part of the theoretical design of a hybrid photovoltaic plant, including the use of heat pump. Thesis deals with using hybrid photovoltaic plant and economic viability of the proposed system. The last part deals with the implementation of the proposed system and assesses the true value from those anticipated in the design.
Organic semiconductors properties
Kočer, Martin ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Špinka, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with optical properties of organic semiconductors and measuring method of absorption edge. Project is focused on absorption of light in organic semiconductors. This work also describes device for measuring of absorption edge.
Monocrystalic silicon - optical properties
Kahánek, Tomáš ; Vaněk, Jiří (referee) ; Špinka, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with optical properties of silicon. The main task of the work was to create silicon samples with ohmic contacts. Suitable radiation source was designed to measure absorption edge of monocrystalline silicon. Designed measuring station was realised. Measurements were performed on samples of p-type monocrystalline silicon provided by ON Semiconductor Rožnov. p. Radhoštěm. The absorbtion edge was measured.
Line protection against overload and short circuit
Konšel, Ladislav ; Vaněk, Jaromír (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
This work includes a theoretical treatise on the operation of electrical wiring for the overload and short circuit. This is mainly on thermal effects of over current and their influence on the properties of conductors and insulation. Work Includes links to determine the load current, depending on the properties of leadership and its surroundings. It also deals with the protection of conductors against overload and short circuit. The work includes measurements process of warming wires. Practical project of proposal circuit is created using SICHR. The project includes proposals of conductor’s sizes and safety components for both residential building and individual flats.
