New building coffehouse with art gallery
Smolík, Tomáš ; Slávik, Richard (referee) ; Benešová, Romana (advisor)
This work addresses the new building cafe with a gallery of fine arts in the city Havířov, district of Karvina. Project documentation is processed in accordance with current applicable laws , regulations and standards. The building will be located at the edge of the land of park in the city centre. The property is located close communication of III. class and all utilities. In addition to the land is central car park with parking space for visitors and the main entrance to the main pedestrian road. This is a two-storey building on the first floor of an establishment cafes and sanitary facilities cafes . On the second floor there is a gallery spaces themselves with one living cell. Ground-plan of the building has an irregular shape , the outline dimensions are 18,25 x 12,00 m Basics is designed as a monolithic plain concrete with embedded arm-reinforcement. Vertical load-bearing envelopes are made from heat - insulating ceramic masonry. Ceilings are made of ceramic beam system with ceramic inserts MIAKO. Most of the floor space is composed of ceramic tiles. The building is covered monotube sloped flat roof insulation. The headliner is designed plasterboard. This work dealt with the preparatory work and study, detailed documentation, text messages, calculations of the thermal assessment, fire safety solutions and seminar work that addresses the problem of flat roofs.
Design and development of ecological insulation material based on natural raw materials
Šťastná, Lucie ; Slávik, Richard (referee) ; Zach, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the development of a new insulating material based on natural raw materials. In theoretical part, there is an overview of available types of loose fill insulation along with describtion of selected natural raw resources and their possible use as thermal and acoustic insulation for the area of ecological woodwork building. The practical part deals with the verification of key characteristics of manufactured samples of insulator. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to optimally modify loose fill insulation based on recycled paper with woodchips from roots to achieve better acoustic properties of recycled paper.

Hygrothermal response of building components
Slávik, Richard ; Šťastník, Stanislav (referee) ; Vertál´,, Marián (referee) ; Kalousek, Miloš (advisor)
This dissertation thesis is focused on the study of simultaneous transport of heat and moisture in building components. First, the introduction briefly summarises current international state of the art in assessment and evaluation of building components focused on moisture. Besides description of methodological approaches and analysis of differences between them, the approaches are modelled using examples which help to identify their properties and explain the application framework of the methods. These examples do not only illustrate the procedures; they also indicate their limits and identify the pitfalls of models’ application in comparison with each other. Next, the thesis includes basic introduction to material parameters necessary in numerical modelling. Moreover, solutions to questions from the assignment are discussed from the point of view of the theory of heat and moisture transport. To fulfil the thesis’ objectives, theoretical analysis and calculations were implemented. Calculations were carried out not only by well-known methods, but also using an own-developed complex algorithm which implements simultaneous heat and moisture transport modelling based on finite element methods and which allows to implement nonlinear behaviour of material properties. Furthermore, the thesis contains description of and results from two experiments. A brief description of an electronic device developed and used for the experiments is included. Experimental results are confronted with both simplified and advanced theoretical models. At last the thesis concludes with discussion of acquired findings, brief summary of potential contribution of this work to the field of building science and engineering practice, and indication of the directions for further development.
Family house
Farkas, Zoltán ; Slávik, Richard (referee) ; Hlavačka, Tomáš (advisor)
The issue of the thesis is working out the project documentation for a family house. It is a two-storey house with a partial cellarage, located in a hillside. The house is roofed with flat roofs, one of them is utilized as a terrace. A garage with two parking spaces is part of the house. The object is designed in the system KMB SENDWIX M. The process layout allows a comfortable living for a family of 4-5 members.
Detached House with shop
Mecko, Tomáš ; Slávik, Richard (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the proposal of newly-built detached house with the bicycle components shop and bicycle service in the cadaster unit of municipality Česká in the development of detached houses. It is a two-storey building, cellarless, consisting of the first and second storey. The built-in garage abuts to the detached house. The building is designed for one generation (a family of four people) with a garage for one automobile and in the shop there are two employees – a salesman and a service technician. The passage to the garage and shop is provided from the living area of the building. The roof terrace with access from the second storey of the object is located above the garage. The object is built from the strips of plain concrete, the structural system consists of Porotherm clay blocks and the floor structures are formed by ceramic fillers and Porotherm beams. The roofing of the building is realized by the warm flat roof. The main entrance into the building is oriented to the north, the living area of the house is oriented to the east, west and south.
