Implementation of ECG within Bank regulation of the EBA

This diploma thesis is dedicated to the problematics of economically connected groups (ECG), ranging from business specification to creation of the ECGs. The goal of the project of creating ECG is to better clarify connections between subjects, which can lead to diversification of risk in a financial institution like bank. Parts of this thesis will serve as a text in the internal documentation of a bank. The first chapter is dedicated to the economic theory for understanding the issue of ECG. The following parts describe practical side of this matter as well as its technical realization. Contribution of this work is the description of the ECG creation together with small proposals for its improvement.
Requirements analysis for implementation of a new CRM in the banking sector

This bachelor thesis deals with the engineering of requirements, an area which covers the development of requirements as well as their management. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate options of the specification and analysis requirements on the selected application type. Which is obtained in practical part by applying the recommended techniques of requirements engineering to a chosen banking process, which resulted in the creation of a functional requirements specification for selected process in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM application. The theoretical part of my thesis explains the basic CRM concepts and provides an overview of the best practices used for analysing requirements. This work could therefore serve as a guide for junior analysts who are starting their work career as requirement developers.
Cost planning in IBM Cognos TM1

The thesis is oriented on the analysis methods of financial planning and cost planning, particularly for companies, and on the realization of the principles and techniques used with IBM Cognos TM1. The main result of this work is the customized solution for cost planning brought by IBM Cognos TM1. The particular result is the description of the main principles of financial and cost planning, explain their parts and introduce to IBM Cognos TM1. The thesis is focused on the basics of IBM Cognos TM1, its main components and advanced use cases. Also, it shows how IBM Cognos TM1 can be used for implementing real custom work-flow process for cost planning.
Evaluation of efficiency of self-service BI implementation in small and medium-sized enterprises

The main goal of this Bachelor thesis is to evaluate the efficiency of implementation of self-service Business Intelligence (SS BI) in small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). To achieve this goal it is necessary to define essences of BI and SS BI, evaluate the relation between SME and BI, and assess possibilities of SS BI in case of enterprise, which specializes on fermented milk products. The theoretical part of this thesis explains methodology behind BI and SS BI, and emphasizes the definition of SME. The practical part provides the description of the small enterprise called Lakto and analyses the implementation of the prototype of SS BI solution in this company. In addition, the practical part provides visualization of results using Qlik Sense Desktop tool. The main contribution of this thesis is assessment of self-service BI implementation in SME and discussion of its main benefits.
Automated conversation on the social platforms

This thesis describes the process of development of text automated conversations or chatbots in the framework of social platforms. It also deals with introducing and comparing the different platforms for creation and communication of instant messaging bots, including their origin and development. Knowledge is practically demonstrated on the chatbots for Messenger and Telegram platforms, whose progress is also described. An integral part of the work is the introduction of instant messaging applications and human speech recognition tools.
Mobile applications for education in air traffic

The aim of this work is to introduce the reader to the new productive form of m-learning training in air traffic. The thesis focuses on mobile educational applications for pilots as well as for aeronautical mechanics. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the basic concepts and definitions that are related to the given issue. There are also described categories of aeronautical mobile educational applications, their availability and use in practice. The current situation with mobile mobile education applications in the world and in the Czech Republic is presented. The practical part is the analysis of mobile educational applications from air traffic. Analysis of individual applications is performed using established metrics and SWOT analysis. The output of this analysis is to assess whether the selected pilots and aeronautical training applications are appropriate, easy to use, and which brings strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
Analysis of SCM IT support in the selected company

This bachelor thesis analyzes the IT SCM support in the selected medium-sized construction company, that is represented primarily by commercial business information system, which was designed to meet construction companies requirements. The objective of this thesis is to develop a set of recommendations for innovation of the analyzed system and also recommendations for the selected company. These recommendations should contribute to more effective IT SCM support in the particular company. The theoretical part of the work comprises of research theses on similar topic, definitions of terms associated with SCM and an overview of the basic principles, respectively the methods used in that area. The theoretical part is followed by an analytical part. This part begins with an introduction of the selected company and the information system, implemented in this company. After that is carried out an analysis of the IT SCM support in the company using the BSCOR model. The analysis is carried out in order to meet the objective of this thesis. To the recommendations is dedicated the penultimate chapter. Just these recommendations are the most benefit of this thesis.
Testing SW for vectorization of graphic templates

This bachelor thesis is concerned about raster and vector graphic and is aimed on conversion of raster draft into vector images. This process is called vectorization or tracing. Theoretical part define the terms raster and vector graphic and subjects linked to them. It illustrates strengths and weaknesses of both and how they can be used. In the second part - practical section the software of vectorization is examined and its tracing tools have been tested. In conclusion, the test results of graphic editors is evaluated and its tracing tools as well as assess the images that have been vectorized. The contribution of this thesis is to suggest which software is being most effective for transforming raster images to vector ones and on factors along. Next I describe the transformation of specific images and rate the results of vectorization.
Redesign of user interface of a web application based on UX design principles

This bachelor thesis deals with the redesign of the web application user interface based on the principles of UX design. The theoretical part is focused on defining the concept of user experience (UX), as well as the sub-disciplines involved in the creation of user interface (UI), which together creates the resulting user experience. The aim of the theoretical part is to describe the individual steps of the selected procedure of the UX design process based on the principles of user-centered design. The main aim of the practical part is to design a web application that corresponds with the principles of UX design, requirements and goals of users and business. Partial goals are to perform the analysis and research of the target group and the company, and further testing to verify that the designs are in accordance with usability and accessibility principles and also to verify the suitability of the UX design process chosen.
eGovernment from the Slovak citizen's point of view

This thesis is specifically concerned with the assessment of eGovernment from the Slovak citizens point of view. There are three major objectives of this thesis: to familiarize the reader with the concept of eGovrnment, to investigate into the past of the eGovrnment in Slovakia and to analyze the present state of the services concerning their use. These objectives are achieved by the extensive research of the data on the digitalization of public administration. Based on the results of the questionnaire survey, the study demonstrates the citizens' evaluation of the current situation in Slovakia. Namely, the questionnaire serves to assess the respondents level of satisfaction with the particular services, as well as the extent to which are these services used. Furthermore, it investigates users attitude towards the potential changes and new possibilities in the field of eGovernment. The theoretical part of this study includes the overview of the services available, here, in Slovakia, along with those available in the foreign countries and the key terms and pillars of the digitalization of public administration. The questionnaire survey, the evaluation and the analysis of the utilization of services are the main focus points included in the empirical part.
