Prototype realization for RFID system demonstration
Pernica, Josef ; Šimek, Milan (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
This diploma thesis deal with design and realization of demonstration board for RFID system. In the begining is described theory of this system. Next part is about theory of solutions and used components. Next is about practical realization demoboard and control program in C language.
Sophisticated methods for electronic text checking
Flégl, Jan ; Malý, Jan (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
The work is about plagiarism of source codes and text documents. We’d like to describe common known methods, learn something about commercial programs and make our own plagiarism detection software. At the beginning of introduction to the theoretical part we will define the plagiarism. We will also learn something about the history of plagiarsm and its situation in the Czech Republic. We will find out something about syntactic analysis, tools we can use to detect plagiarisms and how to discover it. We will see the function of the metrics on easy exercises. We will clear up the function of graphic method with line comparing. We will define advantages and disadvantages of all methods. At the end of the theoretical part we will find out something about commercial programs. In practical part we will make our own program which compares two source codes by using statistical access methods. We will check its function and ability to detect plagiarism by corpus of source codes which we will create.
Modern conception of virtual class system
Outěřický, Pavel ; Průša, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
This thesis is focused on problems of an interactive distant education with usage of virtual classroom as a software communication tool. The short analysis of types of human communication and education is followed by a description of virtual classroom systems in a very basic point of view like what the virtual classroom is and what its usage is and what advantages these systems have. Furthermore, potentialities and supported tools and functions of today’s commercial and also non-commercial products are described including illustrative examples and focus to potential types of network communication implementation. Next section of the thesis presents possibilities of virtual classroom software development as completely web-based application or as desktop application where usage of different programming languages is considered. After that, videoconference as a often used tool in virtual classroom is described and its demands on the ways and types of realization and implementation are stated. The second part of this thesis creates about three quarters of whole document and is dedicated to description of my own realization of virtual classroom system as a built-in-java desktop application communicating across a built-in-java server desktop application. The first section of this part introduces a basic design and concept of the system including its implemented tools for the distant education. The following chapters describe in details each implemented tool and function from the potential user point of view and also developer point of view.
Linux cluster for assurance of stability and security of network environment with internal services
Šála, Jakub ; Herman, Ivo (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
There are described problems about building Linux cluster with high available data storage Lustre and company server solution establishe on virtualization. At the end the thesis performed measurement of cluster availability and out come estimation.
Implementation of multi-purpose server based on WINDOWS
Depiak, Petr ; Kouřil, Jiří (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
This thesis puts brain to the pieces of knowledge of the network services which are occurred in the server systems. These services are related to data storing, transport and data interpretation. Basically there are transport services which are used by FTP and SMB protocols. These protocols define them generally and their security too. Next section describes principles and application possibilities of electronic mail. It is based on SMTP, POP3 and IMAP protocols. The important part of this thesis is the World Wide Web service exploiting the HTTP protocol. It also refers to creation of dynamic presentation of electronic document by using the MySQL relational database and PHP script language. Practical part goes out of the theoretical part discussed above and all services are implemented on the MS Windows 2003 Server EE R2 platform. The main scope is oriented to the highest usage of data security within the available software. Other part presents the introduction to hosting of the Novell eDirectory service. It is practically applied on the MS Windows platform. This application also includes the administration of eDirecroty service by using the standard tool. This tool allows the administration though the web interface.
Decoder for key word detection system
Krotký, Jan ; Míča, Ivan (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
The essay presents the basic characteristics of human speech recognition, describes systems for the detection of key words and further deals with the proposal of each decoder blocks divided into three chapters. The first one describes the operations that are performed before the signal distribution of the framework and the segmentation. The second chapter describes the calculation of short-term energy, the number of zero passes and self-correlative, prediction and Mel-frequency cepstral coefficients. The third chapter, which describes the design of the block decoder, describes the method of dynamic time destruction and the method based on hidden Markov model. The final part of the essay describes decoders working with a speech and a proposal for a simple decoder working with isolated words, which was based issued and tested based on the preceding chapters.
Modern methods of multimedia teaching
Mazal, Zdeněk ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
The work is a summary of the advantages and disadvantages of e-learning, the next section deals with search keywords in sound record, where the survey methods used, operating search engines, their division and the possibilities of use. It also includes the design, implementation and results of the success of a simple search engine of the words in sound record, programmed in Matlab Environment.
Remote PC administration without IP address
Otruba, Vítězslav ; Skořepa, Michal (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is to design a concept of remote PC administration with intermediate unit, which allows the controlled computer not to have the public IP address. We don’t need to know its IP address at all, to take control over it. The designed system uses HTTP protocol to transport commands and replies. Central intermediate unit is the web server with PHP scripting, which cooperates with MySQL database server; the central data store. The commands are stored into MySQL database via web interface using PHP scripting. The target PC is running program in C++ language, which receives the commands by querying the PHP pages on web server, and sends the replies on them. The structure was designed as multi user system. Each user controls different target computer using unique login and password. In consideration of this is not allowed to use one login for two users at the same time and the users are automatically logged off in case of inactivity. As extra feature, not part of project’s main object, was designed the graphical user interface as add-on to the existing system, giving the user actual print-screen of target computer’s monitor. Also the mouse and keyboard functions are software-emulated. By creating the new autonomous data channel for screen pictures transfer, the new opportunity for bidirectional file transfer between controlling and controlled PC is opened.
Keyword spotting
Zemánek, Tomáš ; Ošmera, Pavel (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
This thesis is aimed on design keyword detector. The work contains a description of the methods that are used for these purposes and design of algorithm for keyword detection. The proposed detector is based on the method of DTW (Dynamic Time Warping). Analysis of the problem was performed on the module programmed in ANSI C, which was created within the thesis. The results of the detector were evaluated using the metrics WER (word error rate) and AUC (area under curve).
802.11 standard security techniques and their features
Endrle, Pavel ; Pust, Radim (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
This master´s thesis is about 802.11 standard security techniques and their features. Particular types of this standard and its features are shown in the introduction. Wireless network security cypher alghoritm types, their features, weaknesses and principles of functions are closely described in next few chapters. Realized attacks on these security alghoritms with their principles are described and shown in the practical part of thesis. One chapter is about effectivity, accessibility and practicability valorization of these attacks in practice.
