Spiritual Leadership as an importanmt Part of the permament Formation of Adults, Theory and Practice Today

Spiritual leadership as an important part of the permanent formation of adults, theory and practice today. This thesis deals with the spiritual direction as one important way of the formation of the believer. Spiritual direction being put into practise by one person to another anables the believer to go through life with God to holiness in full. It based on the survey, which charts the spiritual need for guiding the faithful in the Czech Republic and the level of satisfaction.The research carried out by a survey of 1200 respondents shows that number of the believers need to be accompanied much more exceeds the possibility of the current church. Significantly there are more unsatisfied men than women in that need. The trained team of appropriate people for accompany formed in each diocese, not only among priests and religious but even laymen, should be a substantial help for this situation. Then the possibilities of providing this assistance and to apply and fully exploit it, on recommendation of a priest - the cofessor, would be anounced to the believers. Catholic social teaching in the Curriculum of Catholic High Schools of the Czech Republic

The work is deal with the education of Catholic social teaching on church schools. At first author mentions general elements of Catholic social doctrine, the next describes various aspects of this learning in more details. He uses method, when he proceeds from general to specific. Author attends to the philosophical and theological context of Catholic social doctrine, its formation of the Popes encyclical and application of this doctrine to the national conditions, especially in the Czech Republic in the end. The main part of the work is research on education of Catholic social teaching in secondary church schools of the Czech Republic. The author wonders in it, whether the Catholic social teaching is taught in secondary church schools, eventually at what level. The result of research author finally considers to impulse for further work on its introduction into the teaching curriculum of these schools.

Its aim is to describe chat kind of parish concept emanates from the documents of the last council and how this conception was developer in various church documents thereafter. It puts this conception into a historical context with emphasis on the period after the 19th century. Three views on the parish are presented: pastoral sociological, pastoral dogmatic and pastoral legal. The basic functions of the parish are unfolded from today's perspective and finally several models of parish concepts are presented. Teacher-Pupil Relation in Religious Education and Catechesis

The diploma thesis "Teacher-Pupil Relation in Religious Education and Catechesis" presents some aspects of relations in religious education and catechesis. In the first part of the thesis, some general characteristics of teacher-pupil relation are described from the perspective of pedagogy and psychology and some ethic aspects of this relation are outlined. The second part deals with the specific features of the relations developed in religious education and catechesis. The subject and aim of catechesis (which is the growth of the catechised's faith) and of the religious education (the developement of mature and responsible attitude towards religious belief and Christianity) both imply the conclusion, that the teacher-pupil relation is much closer and more personal than in other school subjects teaching. This relation should be, above all, based on mutual love and respect. This proximity can become the source of mutual enrichment, but it also brings a considerable risk of failure and abuse. The damages caused this way have grave consequences for the personal developement of the catechised, their relation towards themselves, other people and God. Catechesy for the adult. Situation in Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic

This work uses analytical-comparativel methodology in basic outline trying to map catechetical-pastoral activity of the Church in Czechoslovakia since the establishment of the first republic to the present. Given the extensive topic it is focused only to selected major figures of Czech churches who were acting from the thirties of the 20th century to the Velvet Revolution and who, through their services, influenced the lives of many people. Work first defines the terminology and then presents a theoretical study of basic post-conciliar magisterium of the Catholic Church documents, relating to the subject of work - catechesis of adults. In this light as well as in historical and social context of the past, this work also perceives testimony of life, services, and ideas of three giants of the era which were Tomislav Kolakovič, Ota Mádr and Jan Evangelista Urban. Through their lifes analysing the literary works of those, this work will show individual paths of adults-catechesis and what these theologians were anticipating with as it was found later in church documents.

Special catechesis. Theory and Practice

This dissertation titled "Special catechesis. Theory and Practice" explores the methods of teaching religion to mentally handicapped children. The research focuses on the presentation of theoretical and practical methods introduced by D, Jucha, J. Madeja, D.Doroszewka, B. Janosz and other significant Polish catechists. The theoretical part, besides a systematicly processed terminology also deals with the actual content and the main aim of special-care catechesis. In addition, it provides an interpretation the dignity of man as it can be found in some church archives. Last, but not least, attention is drawn to the important role of families, parishes and catechists. The second, practical, part is inspired by the methods of B. Janosz - whether it is put to creative use along with new teaching materials as well as new communication tools that motivate mentally handicapped children for active participation in special-care classes. The author of this study concluded that even the weakest must be provided adequate catechesis as every human being, no matter how limited, is capable of growth to sanctity. These people feel the need and are entitled to life in faith. There is a need for oligo-catechesis and it is unquestionable.

Název diplomové práce: KATEGORIÁLNÍ PASTORACE PRO POLITIKY Autor: Jan KASAL 2010 RESUMÉ Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl odpovědět na dvě základní otázky: 1) Jsou křesťané působící v politice a ve veřejných funkcích specifickou kategorií Božího lidu, pro kterou by bylo užitečné vytvořit nějaký speciální typ kategoriální pastorace? 2) V případě, že by této skupině křesťanů byla kategoriální pastorace k užitku, jaké pastorační strategie by měly být použity? Odpověď na první otázku lze nalézt v úvodních kapitolách práce. Na několika vybraných historických úsecích je dokumentováno, jak se církev jako instituce postupně emancipovala od mocenských státních struktur (byť leckdy tomu bylo i naopak). Dále je popsána a zdokumentována dlouhá cesta zvyšování nároků na laiky se zdůrazněním jejich nyní už nezastupitelného místa nositelů a hlasatelů sociálního učení církve. Řada oficiálních církevních dokumentů 19., 20. i tohoto století úlohu laiků jako světských představitelů křesťanského učení nejen popisují, ale současně všechny, kteří se odhodlali na cestu politiky vstoupit, tyto dokumenty povzbuzují a dávají jim někdy rámcové, jindy konkrétnější mantinely a obrysy pro jejich veřejné působení.
