L Systems and Their Applications
Koutný, Jiří ; Goldefus, Filip (referee) ; Meduna, Alexandr (advisor)
This master thesis describes deterministic context-free L-systems and its context in procedural modeling, especially in fractal geometry, deals with rewriting technique and its usage for modeling structures similar to plants. Further it describes more complex types of L-systems, especially their context and parametric variations, and shows usage of L-systems in computer graphics and describes its usage for procedural modeling of architecture. At the end of this thesis there are described some other possibilities of usage procedural modeling with L-systems and introduced some extensions of rewriting rules, which will be subject of future research.
Application of RFID Technology for the Registration of Vehicles
Kraus, Zdeněk ; Lukáš, Roman (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis considers using of contanctless identification technology - RFID onto practical objective for vehicles registration. It describes basic principles of this techonology, components construction, process of communication and used frequency bands. Additionaly it describes complete system and process of it's development with solutions of difficulties, which has occured during the implementation. Finally it describes progress of system implementation and further additional possible development of the system. In conclusion it evaluates contribution of the whole thesis.
Pedigree Tree for Breeding Evidence
Reš, Radim ; Koutný, Jiří (referee) ; Jirák, Ota (advisor)
The Petbook web application was created using the Java language and Struts 2 MVC architecture built on AJAX. The application communicates with the PostgreSQL database. The user of the system keeps records of hers breeds used for breeding purposes and she can join groups of people sharing common interests. The application allows mass and private communications.
FTP Server for Windows Mobile 6
Bajcar, Martin ; Koutný, Jiří (referee) ; Částek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with describing protocol FTP and its use in mobile facilities which work with the operating system of Microsoft Windows Mobile. Furthermore, it handles with the possibility of making applications for this system in programming language Java and summarizes features of its mobile version J2ME. This knowledge is afterwards used to project and implement the application FTP server.
Automatic Selective Breeding Evidence
Novák, Ondřej ; Koutný, Jiří (referee) ; Jirák, Ota (advisor)
This work is concerned about breeding and its central evidence through a web interface. Aim of this work was to implemenet a web portal by a scheme, which allows accounting of animals, their features, competitions and other informations. It allows users to form groups, add friends, and possibility to share animals between them.  Portal was implemented by AJAX and GWT technologies.
Demonstration Program of Computation of Live and Dead Variables
Pavlačičová, Petra ; Koutný, Jiří (referee) ; Lukáš, Roman (advisor)
Demonstration program of computation of live and dead variables is visual utility for learning about optimalization of target code with tagging live and dead variables from input string, which is mathematic phrase with using syntacticanalysis, work with registers and generation of target code in assembler.
Gene Searching - Web Application
Stiborová, Lucie ; Koutný, Jiří (referee) ; Burgetová, Ivana (advisor)
The aim of my Bachelor's Thesis is to create a user interface and to implement the web application with the genes' searching. This is the educational application when each user has a possibility of entering own nucleotide sequences or selecting a redefined chain. This application has to be able to read, process and decide on the existence of a potential gene. On the base of this simple statistic method the result is given back to the user.
Intelligent Control of Ringing Profiles in OS Symbian
Houšť, Marek ; Koutný, Jiří (referee) ; Čermák, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about operations systems in mobile phones focusing on operation system Symbian. It describes proposal, implementation and testing of application for intelligent control of ringing profiles. Application is implemented in operation system Symbian. There is discussion about future development in the end.
Night Sky on Mobile Device
Plešek, Jan ; Dittrich, Petr (referee) ; Koutný, Jiří (advisor)
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 11.0px Menlo} This thesis describes concept and implementation of the application designed to observate the night sky in the simple and intuitive way using the concept of augmented reality. Based on the brief specification of the most widespread mobile operation systems, the iOS system was chosen as the implementation platform. The thesis describes methods to calculate the position of celestial objects based on the data gathered from GPS module, magnetometer and accelerometer. Stars, planets and other objects are rendered by the stereographic projection. The user can see celestial objects trough the mobile device display and control the direction of the view by positioning and turning the device. The application could be used for quick orientation in night sky during astronomical observation or educational purposes.
Transformation of Grammars into Normal Forms
Klapuchová, Mirka ; Koutný, Jiří (referee) ; Zemek, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with issues of normal forms from theory of formal languages. Basic terms from this area are listed here, different types of grammars as well and especially normal forms and algorithms that transfer grammars into normal forms. Description of design and implementation of program which is used to transfer input grammar into entered normal form is included.
