G2 Project - Software Interface for Actuating Main Drive via Ethercat Network, Version 2.
Kokeš, Petr
The software interface for actuating an IM drive using the Ethercat network is described. The IM drive is controlled by the EmadynF controller, which represents a Slave device in the network. The former software interface has been considerably innovated and released in the Version number 2. In addition, a technique of parameters manipulation for our control applications via the EtherCAT network is explained.
System Software of EmadynF Controller, Software Interface for Events Logging via EtherCAT Network.
Kokeš, Petr
All control applications developed in the Institute of Thermomechanics CAS for the EmadynF controller will contain this System software. The purpose of the software is to acquire important data useful for monitoring converter devices and to transfer the data into a higher-level controller via the EtherCAT network.\n\n
The small hydroelectric power station design
Kokeš, Petr ; Pěcha, Jiří (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
The thesis deals with comprehensive design of the small hydroelectric power station in the particular site. There is the site description in the first part followed by evaluation of the hydroenergetic capacity of the watercourse and description of the inlet building and piping. Building and machinery part of the turbine hall is described in the next part. The electric part of the power station is worked up to wider scope and includes hydroalternator, switchgears incl. power for self-consumption, electric protections, cabling, transformer substation and high voltage inlet line. There is a description of the control system in the next part and economical evaluation of the investment is at the end.
Configurable information system
Kokeš, Petr ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
The topic of the master thesis is focused on the design of information system which is designed on the base of the analysis of existing information systems available in the Czech Republic. This analysis is focused on finding uncovered areas. Evaluation of information systems is based on a multicriterial selection analysis, which can specify a minimally covered area. The aim of the master thesis is to show undiscovered possibilities of information systems maintaining the various types of information. The first part is focused to characteristics of information systems, its kinds and types. This part is focused to architecture and to methods of information systems design, too. The second part is focused on analysis of the existing information systems. The aim is to identify areas that are not sufficiently covered. The third part is focused on design of an information system based on the analysis of uncovered areas in the first part. In the last section is documentation of created an information system.
Palaser Project - Software Interface for Actuating AFE Converter via Ethercat Network
Kokeš, Petr
The software interface for actuating an AFE converter (Active Front End, i.e. PWM rectifier) using the Ethercat industrial network is described. The converter is controlled by the Emadyn F controller, which operates as a SLAVE device in the network and which also involves, in addition to the AFE control software, software implementation of EtherCAT Slave Controller (ESC).

Palaser Project - Software Interface for Drive Control via Ethercat Network, ver.2
Kokeš, Petr
The software interface for control of a winding machine drive using the Ethercat industrial network is described. The drive is controlled by the Emadyn F controller, which operates as a SLAVE device in the network and which also involves, in addition to the synchronous motor vector control software, software implementation of EtherCAT Slave Controller (ESC).
Design and create web portal for professor
Kokeš, Petr ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Mazánek, Petr (referee)
The bachelor thesis is focused for designing customers websites by requirements. There is analyzed in my bachelor thesis current websites environment from two points of view from the point of view of the web application and from the point of view of the server environ-ment. To develop an application there is an extensive analysis of current web development trends. The Aim of bachelor thesis is to design and create functional web portal based on the conclusions of the above analysis. The Target -- create a web portal -- is achieved by programming the application using CodeIgniter framework. I compiled the analysis how each web technology works and what is its main idea to use. The Assessment of specified requirements and comparison of all advantages of frameworks and editorial systems leads me to the decision to use framework "CodeIgniter". The contri-bution of the bachelor thesis is the implementation of a web application with function re-mote off-line administration using a desktop application. This all complement user manu-al.
Software interface for operating AFE-DK via EtherCat
Kokeš, Petr
Software interface for operating the AFE-DK embedded program via EtherCat is defined. AFE-DK is the implementation of PWM rectifier control algorithms into EMADYN-D controller, which is a "Slave" device for the EtherCat network communication. Transferred data structures, the Slave and EtherCat state machines as well as the Slave events are described.
Control system of APF device
Kokeš, Petr
Control method of Active Parallel Filter (APF), which is based on the previously developed AFE control method utilizing the LQR controller, is described. The APF device is able to compensate fully reactive load current and reduce considerably higher harmonics up to 11th order. APF functionality was tested on a physical model of the LV 4-level converter with flying capacitors in steady and transient states for both symmetrical and asymmetrical loads. The control system was implemented into Emadyn-F controller.
