Coral reef assemblages in the Earth history

This thesis summarizes the present status of findings of reef ecosystem in the Earth history, beginning with uncertain discoveries of Precambrian till the end of the Tertiary. The work is divided into three thematical units, according to the phanerozic erathems. In the beginning of every unit I describe the reef environment and its geographical presence in that time period. Next, I mention main groups of reef building organisms and their changes in time. A key part of each chapter are dedicated to the development of corals of given erathem, their prosperity during favorable conditions and impact of deteriorating conditions of their occurrence. And so, the other part of my work is also a description of the decline of coral reefs during the five main mass extinctions. The thesis also contains a comparison of the systematic classification of Anthozoa in biological and geological point of view. Katherine Mansfield in Themes and Motifs of her Poetic Creation

The diploma thesis focuses on the poems of Katherine Mansfield and the extent to which chosen themes and motifs reflect her personal life. It also aims at the interconnection of the themes in her poetry with the other genres the writer used. The study is predominantly based on two biographies, collections of Mansfield's poems, letters, diary entries and short stories. Owing to a great number of her letters, diary entries and detailed autobiographies, the thesis presents the life and work of Katherine Mansfield with her sources of inspiration; in the practical part it attempts to connect the themes and motifs from Mansfield's poetry with the events in her life and different genres she chose to use. Openings and Closures of English Lessons

The bachelor thesis is based on openings and closures of English lessons. As one of the sources it uses observation sheets from several schools, i.e. nursery, primary and secondary, and also data from English language courses for adults. Design of Sailing Boat

The topic of this master‘s thesis is design and analysis of a sailing boat in accordance with ergonomic and technological requirements. The goal is to create a sailing boat, which will be modern, visually interesting and which and which will take future development of both design and technology into account.
