The Specifics of the Audit of Financial Statements of the Bank in the Czech Republic

This master thesis deals with the area of external audit of the bank in the Czech Republic. Its goal is to identify and describe the specifics making the procedures during bank's financial statements audit different from those applied by non-financial commercial subjects. The first part is focused on the general framework of the external audit. The second part describes main features of the bank identifying several risks connected with the business which have a significant influence on the approach used by the auditors. The third part describes the methodology applied by auditors during the audit of the bank.

Comparison of the relative costs of public transport of selected regional cities

This bachelor thesis deals with cost of public transport in chosen region cities of Czech republic. Thesis examines the use of statistic modeling and comparision, if there is a correlation between the size of cities by population and per capita costs of the city. Another indicator examined is the cost per one transported and their dependence on the size of city, again according to population. Costs are dividing into investment costs and operating expenses, examines period 2003-2009.

Vývoj pojištění depozit v České republice

Tato práce podrobně analyzuje vývoj pojištění depozit v České republice. Rozborem právních norem, novodobé historie našich bankovních institucí a situace na politické scéně odhaluje příčiny, které vedly ke konkrétním změnám tohoto základního pilíře bankovní regulace a dohledu. Nejprve jsou naznačeny obecné aspekty pojištění vkladů, které následuje nejrozsáhlejší kapitola zasvěcená vývoji pojištění vkladů u bank a stavebních spořitelen. Zvláštní pozornost je zde věnovaná historicky vyvolané modifikaci platné právní úpravy v podobě nadlimitních náhrad vkladů. V poslední části je vyložen způsob, jakým se vyvíjelo pojištění vkladů u družstevních záložen.
