Tool steel 19 436 was chosen as a material of extrusion and heading tools.
Production of weapon conclusion
Diviš, Adam ; Forejt, Milan (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of technology for production of weapon conclusion by die forging. The weapon conclusion will be made of C45 steel in series of 500 000 pieces per year. Before forging, the base semi-finished product will be treated using cross-wedge rolling technology. Thanks to the chosen production process, the forging will be made as four pieces. A simulation of the forging process was made for the created design. Results of a simulation showed that metal did not fill entire hollow. Based on these results was made changes in design and the simulation was performed again. According to the results of the second simulation, the hollow has already been filled with metal. For the forging was chosen the machine LZK 2500P from Šmeral a.s with a nominal force 25MN. In the conclusion there was a technical-economic evaluation of costs for the material required for production of entire series.

The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies branch Engineering technology submitted technology design of manufacturing a control element by extrusion – part of aluminium alloy EN AW 6082. On the base of literature study of the cold forming problems and calculations was designed procedure on one operation. Semi-finished product was chosen cut block rods with a diameter of 43.5 mm and length of 17,4 mm. The production is designed for toggle stamping press LLR 400 (producer Šmeral Brno a.s.) with a nominal force 4000 kN. Extrusion punch and extrusion die are made of steel alloy 19 830.4 heat-worked according to drawing documentation.
Sizing of the waves geometrical parameters fabricated on the sheet metal die
Stupárek, Daniel ; Forejt, Milan (referee) ; Samek, Radko (advisor)
This thesis approaches the problem of the return of the original geometric shape of the wave which is created on die panels. Die is used as a structural feature of the fiber-cement roofing material in its shipment in the production line. Based on the study of the theory of cold formed sheet metal determine the actual status in the plant. The method of calibration was designed from the collected informations about the original manufacturer of sheet metal panels. Under this proposal and calculation of the required forming power for the recalibration wave in the factory device for the die calibration was designed and constructed. Equipment calibration was performed on two types of corrugated panels and the result fulfilled the theoretical assumptions. In conclusion is processed technological-economic evaluation and the accompanying drawings.
Bulk forming technology of piston of disk brake
Toman, Svatopluk ; Samek, Radko (referee) ; Forejt, Milan (advisor)
The project of Master’s thesis elaborated within engineering studies of branch 23-03-T002 proposes a technology of production of disk brake piston made of low-carbon steel EN C10E. Supposed production amount is 300 000 pieces per year. With knowledge of literary study on the theme of cold steel bulk forming, three variants of production technique were proposed. The chosen one, for which the technological and energy computations were accomplished, consists of two basic forming operations. For manufacture realization was selected three-stage automatic forming machine TPD 630 (manufacturer Šmeral Brno) with nominal forming output of 6 300 kN. As a material of extruding punch, tool-steel EN X100CrMoV5-1was chosen. For extruding dies was selected high speed steel HS 6-5-2 and its shrink ring is made of high quality steel 60WCrV8. Optimalization of tool properties was performed with specialized PC software.
