Investment costs of wooden structures

The aim of this thesis is to compare the costs for the construction of various construction systems wooden buildings. The first part deals with the historical and contemporary construction systems wooden structures and materials that are used in these buildings. Details are discussed in the work of the wood, its properties and uses in the construction industry. Another chapter deals with the pricing, kinds of budgets and costs. In the end of the technical characteristics listed buildings. Practical work in the introduction describes the layout and construction of selected timber, which is then compared with log technology. The comparison is done from several perspectives. First they are compared and evaluated their quality characteristics. A chapter about the cost of delivery and installation of individual houses from the perspective of works HSV and PSV. As the last are compared to the cost of individual construction and then the total cost of construction, operation and disposal of buildings. The conclusion is a summary evaluation of the results obtained.

The Funding of a public order from the perspective of a contractor

This thesis deals with funding of contract from the point of view of contractor. It describes the possibility of financing the building both from the internal and external sources. All conditions that had to be met to win the contract will be explained on a real situation and the way and development of financing the contract will be described as well. The goal of the thesis is to define and suggest all possible changes in funding of the agreed contract from the contractor´s point of view.

Cost revitalization of a residential building

This bachelor thesis focuses on the reconstruction costs of the residential houses. The theoretical part describes the management of the construction project, building life cycle and the costs of the each individual stages of the cycle. Furthermore these buildings are described on the basis of the functional parts. In the practical part the thesis focuses on the determination of the realization costs of two residential houses, the durability of individual functional parts and the possibilities of their reconstruction. At the end the budget and schedule are created and the reconstruction is analysed from an economic point of view.

This master‘s thesis deals with the design of battery powered soldering iron. The soldering iron will be placed in the plastic box from a conventional transformer soldering iron. First, we need to find the parameters of the original transformer soldering iron. Then design a synchronous step-down converter, driver of converter, BMS circuits, and component placement in a plastic box. The battery-powered soldering iron was successfully revived and tested, the final parameters of the converter are: voltage 0.4 V at 80 A current. The total power on the soldering wire is 32 W. Technically, this is a very interesting alternative to the classic version of the soldering iron, which can be used for assembly or repairs in poorly accessible locations.

Injury of professional athletes - soccer players, rehabilitation and prevention

The study analyses available data (a total of 564 reports) on injuries to the musculoskeletal apparatus in a series of 240 professional soccer players, with the average age of 24.3 years as of the beginning of all football seasons (median 24.0 years, range 16 - 39 years), covering the period of 16 years (1997 - 2013). The analysed variables included age, height, body weight, BMI, different football positional roles (defence, offence, goalkeeper), number of injuries (injury to the ankle, the knee, lower limb muscles; lower limb fracture, injury to the upper limb, injury to the head, neck and back, injury to tendons and groins) and the surface on which the injury was sustained (dry - hard, wet - soft, artificial). Processing of statistical data and examination of a potential correlation between the respective injury and variables was based on the mixed model method. During the season the risk of a knee injury sustained in a match was statistically significantly higher as compared to training; at the same time the risk was decreasing with the growing BMI value. In addition to a statistically significant training/match variable (with matches posing a higher risk), the risk of injury to the knee depends on the type of surface, where dry surface is associated with a higher risk of such injury. Management of the Construction Project

The bachelor thesis is devoted to managing the construction project and the thesis is divided into two parts – theoretical and practical. The theoretical part briefly explains project management, project, phases of the project and necessary documentation and legislation. The practical part is focused on territorial and structural management in the construction contract. The aim of this work is to analyze the problems of structural management in a particular construction project. The outcome of my thesis is processing of the methodology for territorial management.
