The influence of communities upon the amount of their tax revenues
Králík, Martin ; Marková, Hana (advisor) ; Kohajda, Michael (referee)
The purpose of the thesis is to describe and analyse capability of municipalities as subjects creating law to influence own tax revenue. The theoretical foundation of the thesis is definition of self-government and municipal budget aiming at revenue, especially tax revenue in accordance with the budgetary categorization. The main part of the thesis focuses on the municipal budget revenue, which can be influenced by municipaities. It contains two chapters. The first one of them is so concerned with local charges as the payments which the municipalities have the greatest influence on. They decree their introduction or repeal, rate etc. The next chapter of the thesis analyses the authority of municipalities regarding the real estate tax, that is possibility of exemption of real estate touched by natural disaster and exemption of some agricultural lands and set or modification of various coefficients - the local coefficient, the municipal coefficient and location rent. The following part reports on tax authority of slovak municipalities compared with czech ones. Keywords Municipal budget, local charges, local taxes, real estate tax, location rent, municipal coefficient, local coefficient.
Determination of geotechnical and geological characteristic of soils and evaluation of their suitability for building construction in Koryčany-Lískovec
Králík, Michal ; Krmíček, Lukáš (referee) ; Sluková, Michaela (advisor)
Aim of this bachelor thesis is determination characteristics of soil from selected location in Czech Massif and determine its sustainbility for foundation construcion, survey is aimed at geotechnical characteristics but also hydrological characteristics if underground water will be reached. First objective is search activities of geology destription in selected location followed by survey activities and taking soil samples, which we analyze in laboratory and we suggest appropriate type of founding construction based on results.
EOG signal processing using Arduino
Typovský, Viktor ; Králík, Martin (referee) ; Harabiš, Vratislav (advisor)
This bachelors thesis deals with scanning and processing EOG signal. Processing means displaying EOG signal detection and eye movement. The theoretical part is first described the formation and properties of EOG signal. Furthermore, they describe factors affecting EOG. The practical part is then given proposal hardware solutions to capture this signal and processing algorithm. Scanning EOG signal is realized by means of the instrumentation amplifier. Its filtration is used lowpass Sallen-Key. It was decided to maintain during scanning DC component of the signal. But that was a problem regarding the electrode potential. This problem would be resolved by the proposed compensation circuit. Processing the resultant signal is then performed in an environment Processing using Arduino platform. EOG imaging algorithm and motion detection functions and is given.
NEW ON THE „OLD“ – Brno, Bratislavská - Stará Corner
Králík, Martin ; Lazarov, Pavel (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Jan (advisor)
Multifunctional building situated on the corner of Bratislava's Old is placed in the gap between the surrounding buildings. The main purpose of this project is to create new housing and public space in the form of passages, park, garden, library and tea rooms. It is especially designed for students, young people and families with children. The ground floor consists of arcade and shops, the second mainly tea room and a library with an associated terrace, the remaining part of the building is used for housing. Under the building are three underground floors used for parking and technical areas of the building.
Analysis of the meteorological dates
Králík, Martin ; Čmiel, Vratislav (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to recognize the basics of atmospherical physics, the techniques and measuring instruments used in weather stations and the statistical analysis of three chosen meteorological parameters. Data analysis is made by using graphical display method, which is discussed later on.
The Red Queen
Králík, Martin ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
Red Queen is a chess piece on the story of Alice in Wonderland, which is constantly running to hold it in place, because the world around it is constantly in motion. Therefore, it is a symbol of the theory of evolution, a constant necessity innovation and the eternal escape from competitors. Red Queen's Race is constructed into a miniature civilization, or rather one growing superorganism, which constantly oscillates between the digital and the physical world. The main consciousness of this association is black majestically looking server that supplies with his computing power and energy all attached printers. They are designed specifically for this purpose, such as abstraction of robotics industry, with an emphasis on a functionally aesthetic form, in yellow-orange color of heavy industrial machinery. The most important and largest part of this system, are entities which printers materialize. They are created according to a living creature of this world, generated by computer, based on a unique code, which is the result of calculating the evolutionary recombination, processed by the server, depending on the reactions of outside observers at the objects which are already created. Sense of each entity is attract attention. How much more, the greater is the chance to continue their code in future generations.
Utilization of Multiple Level Association Rules in an e-Shop
Králík, Michael ; Šebek, Michal (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of a complete information system for the needs of electronic shop, where multiple level association rules will be used for data mining. The information system will include warehouse management, automated order processing, payment management, tax records and display various statistics. Technologies such as HTML, Latte, CSS, JavaScript, Nette Framework, PHP and MySQL were used to implement this system.
Deploying thin clients and terminal servers in various environments that differ in requirements for load and performance
Králík, Martin ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Kouřil, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with possibilities of the use of terminal servers and available virtualization technologies on Microsoft, Vmware and Citrix platforms. In the first part, technical principles for virtualization are analyzed in detail and contributions to individual technologies are compared. The second part is practically aimed and deals with the suggestion of testing methodology. The testing methodology consists of identification of key factors describing user´s behaviour, which are subsequently used for selection and dimensioning of hardware architecture. The testing methodology is transformed into a scripting language and prepared for automated tests. The realized tests can be divided into groups dealing with sever load performance, monitoring data transfer, and mapping of the system time response to user´s stimulation.Thin and software clients are computed on the clients side.Performance characterizations of RDP and PcoIP protocols are monitored and compared here. On the basis of the results of performed tests two case studies for computing thin clients in the environment of The Department of Telecommunications,Brno university of Technology and in a basic school are elaborated. The first case study intended for The Department of Telecommunications is concerned with computing of VMware View technology for 150 clients. The second one supposes to compute Microsoft Remote Desktop Services in the system enviroment of a basic school for 15 clients.
Classification of sleep phases using polysomnographic data
Králík, Martin ; Kozumplík, Jiří (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
Aim of this thesis is the classification of polysomnographic data. The first part of the thesis is a review of mentioned topic and also the statistical analysis of classification features calculated from real EEG, EOG and EMG for evaluating of the features suitability for sleep stages scoring. The second part is focused on the automatic classification of the data using artificial neural networks. All the results are presented and discussed.
Object detection in images using extended set of Haar-like features and histogram-based method
Králík, Martin ; Uher, Václav (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on detection in images using extended set of Haar-like features and histogram-based method. At first is introduced a basic concept of extraction and classification image features. The next part bring own concept of image features based on Diffusion distance. Result of this work is implementation this methods in Rapidminer.
