Title: Comparison of somatognosia and postural stability between female sports aerobics and gymnasts Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to evaluate asomatognosia, constitutional hypermobility and postural stability in the studied groups (i.e. the group of sport aerobics gymnasts and the group of gymnasts) and their subsequent comparison with each other. Another aim is to determine whether there is a correlation between the different modalities studied, i.e. asomatognosia, constitutional hypermobility, postural stability, ability to evaluate sensory stimuli and body image. Methods: 86 girls and women aged 8-24 years, 41 in the sport aerobics group and 45 in the gymnastics group participated in the study. They were evaluated by the Petrie test, Body attitude test, body size tests (shoulder width test, pelvic width test, foot length test), limbs statesthesia, Beighton score and Y-balance test. Data was collected in the gyms of the participating sports clubs. It was conducted from March 2023 to November 2023. Microsoft Excel 365 and R statistical software (version 4.3.2) were used for statistical data analysis. Selected statistical tests were calculated for 95% significance level. Statistical significance was defined as p < 0.05. Results: Sports gymnasts showed better asomatognosia in the pelvic...
Prerequisites of feedback mechanisms in telerehabilitation
Halková, Andrea ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Vláčilová, Ivana (referee)
Title : Preconditions of feedback mechanism in telerehabilitation Objectives: The aim of this master thesis was to determine whether and under what conditions it is possible to objectively assess the exercise execution, according to predefined parameters of given exercise remotely, based on vide-recording only. Methods: 40 probands, a healthy adult population, were included in the evaluation, for which video recordings of the exercises were made. These exercises were then judged by 75 raters-more or less experienced specialists in the field-according to preset conditions. They were evaluated for their agreement with each other, their agreement with themselves when the same video was repeated, and the difference between the ratings according to their length of practice. Parameter analysis was performed according to the agreement in their ratings, or the differences between the rating parameters in terms of their specificity. The measured values were statistically and graphically processed.. Results : It has been shown that the correctness of the exercise execution can be remotely evaluated, especially if specific parameters are selected, mostly those for which it is easy to determine the truth value. A higher degree of objectivity and therefore inter-rater agreement is achieved by raters with longer...

Müller, Michael ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Vláčilová, Ivana (referee)
Title: The influence of flossing band on range of motion of hip joint in grappling athletes Objectives: The objective of this thesis is to determine the effectiveness of the therapeutic method "tissue flossing" in increasing the range of motion of hip rotations among recreational level grappling athletes, and whether this effect persists after a 60-minute grappling training session or during daily activities. Methods: The experimental research involved 20 healthy participants engaged in recreational- level-grappling. All participants were men aged between 18-35 years. The research consisted of four sets of measurements conducted in two rounds, referred to as input and output measurements. In the first set, an input measurement was taken to establish the baseline range of motion for hip rotation in the right lower extremity, followed by an output measurement of the values for external and internal rotation in the hip joint after a 60-minute grappling session led by an expert coach. The second set included both input and output measurements taken before and after the 60-minute training session. However, specific exercises to enhance hip rotations were incorporated before the second input measurement. The third measurement followed the same procedure as the second set, with the addition of treating...
