Modernization of Tenryu Pick and Place Machine
Drška, Jan ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Mikulka, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the current state of the machine and to propose a possible solution for the modernization of the machine and to implement selected parts. The thesis includes documentation of the original state of the Tenryu MT-5530LQ automatic machine and its documentation after modernization. In the introductory part, the theory of the automatic machine is described, this chapter is followed by a description of the function and design of the aforementioned machine. The third chapter describes and identifies the machine components that need to be replaced or repaired. The fourth chapter of this thesis contains a complete proposal for the modernization of the machine, including the possible results of the modernization. These previous chapters are followed by chapters 5, 6 and 7 where new cards for the proposed control system are described and the thesis concludes with a summary of the impact of the upgrade on the machine including options for continuing to upgrade the machine.
Automatic hydroponic microfarm for plant cultivation
Takács, Peter ; Janoušek, Jiří (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This thesis deals with the implementation of hardware and software design for an existing hydroponic micro-farm. The thesis includes a literature and internet search focused on automated plant cultivation. A description of different types of soilless cultivation systems is given in the thesis. General plant requirements are addressed and these requirements are thoroughly discussed. Instrumentation using specific components is also described in the thesis. The system integrates a control unit, heating and aeration controls for the nutrient solution, adjustable lighting, and sensors for pH, EC, and adjustable water and ambient temperature. In addition, the advantages and disadvantages of two selected microprocessor units are discussed. Further, the operation of the microcontroller that controls the individual components is also described in the thesis. This thesis briefly describes the general circuitry of each component and includes circuit diagrams and the schematic of a printed circuit board. This thesis describes the program of the firmware and the functions of the web interface used to interact with the system. Additionally, it features remote control and monitoring capabilities via a web interface, with email alerts for external intervention needs. This thesis also includes the implementation of the electronics in terms of assembly and calibration.
Position indikator behind the wall
Slavíček, Radek ; Friedl, Martin (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis is focused on explaining of basics of electromagnetism and principles of resonant circuits. These solutions are used for design the indicator opposite position. The next step of document is solution by using magnetic field for design of transmitter and receiver antennas for electronics devices. The final products are solved as the best way for the design. Development process is described step by step in individual chapters.
Arterial Puncture Simulator
Martincová, Kateřina ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
The topic of this smestral thesis is to design arterial puncture simulator, which could be used as a device for teaching first aid. At first there are presented and described simulators available on the market. Followed by the analysis of individual components that were selected for the construction of the simulator. The control unit, which switches the bistable valve is realized by Arduino. Liquid jetting is facilitated by expansion container. The result of this thesis is design and testing of components of prototype arterial puncture simulator.
Synchronnous detection of modulated optical signals
Poliak, Juraj ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with common features of synchronous detection system of modulated optical signals. Theoretical aspects of design as well as separate parts of system design will be discussed. In conclusion, the complete circuitry design will be presented, realized and his functionality will be tested on optical experiment.
Temperature and humidity measuring station
Vilímek, Tomáš ; Marcoň, Petr (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
Bachelor thesis entitled „Temperature and humidity measuring station“ is focused on design of a device, that will be able to measure, save and display information about temperature and humidity from connected sensors. There is described used components such as LCD display, sensors, RTC, data saving, communication with personal computer and description of alternative sensors. Practical part contains implementation of components, scheme, manual for the device and decription of device firmware.
Metal detector for industrial use
Stehno, Rostislav ; Friedl, Martin (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
The goal of this project is explore and study the ways of metal detecting and create a metal detector for industrial use. During a project development, the device size and user easy interface were the basic requirement. As a visual device was chosen LCD touch display, which is very important as a user-friendly interface. For math calculations and right function of device will be implemented microcontroller from Atmel corporation. As a data storage will be used a flash memory with 16MB of size. When the device were inventing, a lot of methods were studied and the impulse detect method were chosen which is the most perspective way of metal detecting. Device will communicate with PC trough a USB port. The device will have a battery which allows device to run for a few hours. The prototype of PCB were developed. Few mistakes has been discovered, while the device were constructed, but they were solved successfully.
Smart Plug
Šebesta, Ondřej ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Marcoň, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor thesis discusses the design of a smart plug. The theoretical part focuses on the individual parts and functions of smart plugs, and their functional possibilities are analysed together with the related fabrication perspectives. The practical portion concentrates on the selection of appropriate components and proposes a complete design of the hardware and software of a smart plug, including a web server for its control. The practical portion also describes a calibration of a measuring part and compares measured values with values from another measuring device.
Digitally controlled filter
Rez, Jan ; Szabó, Zoltán (referee) ; Friedl, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with design of a functional prototype universal digitally controlled analog frequency filter 2th order. Part of the design is the selection of appropriate filter topology diagram and selection of an integrated circuit. Universal filter will contain lowpass, highpass, bandpass and notch filter. The filter is tuned in cutoff frequency from 100 Hz to 15 kHz. The bachelor's thesis focuses on the circuit analysis of selected concrete structure of universal filter and possibilities of digital control filters. The practical part of this thesis includes PCB design, control software for filter and graphical representation of measured results.
