Static design of steel and timber members of structure of a guesthouse in Pasohlávky
Tomášek, Matěj ; Bukovská, Pavla (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
The topic of this bechelor’s thesis is assesment of the load-bearing steel and wooden structures of a guest house in the town of Pasohlávky using the BIM method, which includes data sharing and collaboration with other professions. The thesis includes two separate structures: a winter garden designed from steel S235JR and a roof structure that combines steel S235JR and structural timber C24. The content of the work covers the assesment of the main load-bearing elements, dimensioning of selected joints, stability analysis of frame structures, column anchoring and drawing solutions in combination with an IFC format model.
Design of the steel structure in building for climbing wall and its facilities
Koiš, Matej ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Bukovská, Pavla (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design, assessment and creation of structural model of steel load-bearing structures of roofing and climbing wall in the building of university climbing centre situated in Pardubice, while applying BIM principles. During processing the thesis, it was necessary to cooperate with students of other professions, who were part of the shared bachelor thesis. The building of climbing centre has four aboveground floors and one underground floor and is divided into two parts – hall with the climbing wall and hinterland. Steel roof structure has 12° incline and functions separately above both parts of the building. The structure is composed of steel roof beams of I sections and on the part above the hall it was necessary to add the stabilization reinforcement. The construction is anchored to the concrete periphery and inner load-bearing walls with the anchoring bolts. In the part of the roof above the hinterland, there is an entrance to the terrace and so a steel lintel must have been added. The roof structure in this part is connected to this lintel with screws. Climbing wall situated in hall is 16 m high and is made of two climbing profiles and contains hollow square and circular sections complemented with log rods. Climbing wall is anchored to the concrete slab by chemical anchors.
Steel interior staircase in the polytechnical building in Bratislava
Redecha, Martin ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor thesis is the design and assessment of the supporting steel structure of the staircase in the multifunctional building in Bratislava. The staircase is located in the entrance atrium in an open space between the 1st floor to 3NP with a total height difference of 6850 mm floors. The approximate ground plan dimensions of the staircase construction are 5500 x 5100 mm. The construction of the staircase was designed from enclosed SHS 50x4 steel profiles in steel S355 J2. The construction system represents truss beams of various shapes that are connected to each other by horizontal and oblique dams. All rods are from the profile. Anchoring is rebuilt by anchor plates with a thickness of 15 mm with 4 chemical anchors and threaded rods M12, 8.8. The static calculation was the program by RFEM 6.06. Subsequently, manual calculation and assessment of the most stressed rods were made by internal forces and design and calculation of anchoring. The C-Fix Online program 1.1.58.1 Fischer was also used to design chemical anchors.
Steel structure of indoor pool
Lengyel, Barbara ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Horáček, Martin (advisor)
The content of this bachelor's thesis is the design and the assessment of the loadbearing steel structure of an indoor pool. Ground plan dimensions are 30×84 m and the height of the structure is 14 m. The main supporting system is composed of 15 main trusses in 6 metre distance. The main truss is formed by a truss girder in the shape of a wave, which is on one side pinned on steel column and on the other side is pinned on concrete column. Main columns are fixed in main course and pin supported in longtudinal course. Frontal columns are pin supported in both courses. Main trusses are connected by purlins and girts. Spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by system of longitudinal and sway bracings.
Autosalon in Jihlava
Mátlová, Michaela ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
The aim of my thesis was to propose two variants of the steel construction of the car showroom. The ground dimensions of the structure are 35 x 50 meters. The building reaches a height of 8.8 m above the surrounding terrain. The building consists of two parts. The exhibition part of the car showroom will be partially glazed and also includes office space. The second part is the adjacent car workshop. The variants differ in the construction of the enclosure of the exhibition part of the car showroom. The work includes two static designs of the supporting steel structure of the car showroom. The winning variant of the frame construction a solution of selected details and drawing documentation.
Airport terminal
Mika, Václav ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Horáček, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with design and structural assesment of the steel airport terminal in Prag-Ruzyne. The project is designed in two options. The dimensions of the rectagular floor plan are 79,3 x 98,65 m. The height of the building in highest point is 21,5 m. The airport terminal contains 9 main frames spaced by 9 m. The cladding of the roof and the side walls is designed by sendwich panels. The face wall is made by glass facade system.
Steel Structure of Velodrom
Dušek, Ivo ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Horáček, Martin (advisor)
Design of load bearing steel structure of a sports hall for track cycling. Examination of main load bearing structural members. Solution of chosen details of joints. Elaboration of production drawings of chosen sections.
Steel load-bearing structure of an industrial hall
Jaroš, Jakub ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The bachelor´s thesis contains design of one-aisle industrial hall with span of 24 m, length of 72 m and height of the holder of craneway 9 m. In hall there are two cranes, first one with load capacity of 32/8 t and second one with load capacity of 12,5 t. The roof structure is designed as a system of truss girders and truss purlins. Spatial rigidity of the structure is secured by bracing. Main structural material is steel S235 JR+AR ČSN EN 10025-2. Drawings contain flor wiew and sections of hall and manufacturing drawings of truss.
Reverification of the roof structure of St. Catherine church in Kateřinky
Bayer, Petr ; Balázs, Ivan (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
Church of St. Catarine is located in Opava-Kateřinky, Kostelní 119/1. Due to the extensive damage to the truss structure, a survey was conducted focusing on the geometry of individual elements and their harm (extent of cracks and incidence of woodworm and mold). On the basis of the data obtained, a control calculation of truss elements above the main part of the church was performed (ultimate limit state (ULS) and the serviceability limit state (SLS)). Most elements were found to be satisfactory. However, replacing the most damaged parts of the elements is necessary.
Bus station roofing
Buchníčková, Klára ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
This Bachelor Thesis deals with the design and assessment of the steel structure of the bus station roofing. The span of the structure in the transverse direction is 35 m, the length is 40 m. The maximum height of the roof is 16,8 m. The structure consists of trusses in the shape of a wave supported by solid columns. The distance between the main frames is 5 m. Due to the asymmetrical shape of the truss, the columns of the main frames have different heights - 14 m and 5 m. The construction is designed for the Brno area.
