v Abstract Title: A case study focusing on the physiotherapeutic treatement of a patient with comminuted fracture of the distal part of the femur. Objectives: The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis was to find and elaborate theoretical information related to the above diagnosis including anatomy, fracture diagnosis, traumatology and treatment methods. The aim of the practical part of the thesis was to elaborate a case report of a patient with the above diagnosis including the design of therapy and to put the design of therapy into practice and then to evaluate the effectiveness of therapy in this particular patient. Methods: This bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, in which the theoretical knowledge related to the above diagnosis is included, concerning anatomy, traumatology and diagnostic and therapeutic options. The second part is the practical part, which was prepared on the basis of the professional practice in the Faculty Thomayer Hospital, in the period from 22.1. to 16.2.2024. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is elaboration of a case study of a patient after implantation total hip joint. Methods: The case study was elaborated at the impatient care. Part of the therapy the medical history was established and the elaboration of input and output kinesiological analysis. Afterward the objectives were made. During 9 therapeutic units in which was used excercises to prevent TEN. Next were used soft tissue techniques, joint play mobilization also techniques with soft balls, relaxing techniques, analitic strengthening, taking care of scar and practice of locomotion and mobility. Results: During the treatment pain was lowered, the swelling was reduced, the range of motion was increased same as muscle strenght, recovery of joint play and partial release of soft tissues. Reeducation of breathing stereotype and movement stereotype to abduction and extencion in hip joint prove to be unsuccessfull. Conclusion: In short terapeutic plan which consisted of intervention of nine therapies the patient made positive changes and most of the objectives were completed. Title: A case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after double osteosynthesis of the humerus with postoperative paresis of the nerve radialis Objectives: The aim of this thesis is the theoretical elaboration of knowledge concerning peripheral paresis with emphasis on the radial nerve, osteosynthesis of the humerus and the rehabilitation process. In a special part, the aim is to elaborate a case study of physiotherapeutic care, which focuses on postoperative paresis of the n. radialis after double osteosynthesis of the humerus, using both theoretical and practical knowledge from the bachelor's study. Methods: The thesis has two parts. In the theoretical part I have elaborated data on the shoulder joint, fractures, osteosynthesis of the humerus, peripheral nerves, paresis of the n. radialis and possibilities of rehabilitation in this diagnosis with the help of specialized sources. A special section is devoted to a complete case report of a patient with the given diagnosis. Case Study of Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient with the after reimplantation of total knee arthroplasty

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compile a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient after reimplantation of total knee arthroplasty. Furthemore, the thesis includes theoretical knowledge about the subsequent rehabilitation. The tesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part focuses on the anatomy of the knee joint, the issue of osteoarthritis, and its diagnosis. The last chapter is dedicated to total knee arthroplasty, its indications and contraindications, conservative and operative treatment, and finally, rehabilitation before and after the surgical procedure. The practical part includes the patient's anamnesis, initial kinesiological analysis, individual therapeutic units, final kinesiological analysis, and the concluding evaluation of the therapy. There was an improvement in the patient's health status during the therapy. The physiotherapy methods used were effective. v Abstract Title: Case study of physical therapy treatment of a patient after ischemic stroke with right hemiparesis Objective: The aim of my bachelor thesis is to provide a comprehensive theoretical overview of ischemic stroke and to present a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a specific patient with this diagnosis in the special section. Method: This thesis comprises a theoretical part and a special part. The theoretical section focuses on compiling knowledge about ischemic stroke using scholarly literature and current resources. The special part addresses a case study of physiotherapeutic care for a specific patient who has suffered an ischemic stroke. It includes anamnesis, initial kinesiological analysis, short term and long term physiotherapeutic plans, daily records of therapies, and final kinesiological analysis, as well as an assessment of the therapeutic outcomes. Results: Based on theoretical foundations, physiotherapeutic care was applied, which led to an improvement in self-sufficiency, increased muscle strength, enhanced stability, greater range of motion, and reduced pain in the shoulder joint. Milan Martínek, Ph.D. Title: A case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient diagnosed with TEP of the knee joint Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to elaborate the theoretical background related to the diagnosis of TEP of the knee joint. The special part of the bachelor thesis is prepared in order to keep a case report of a patient after knee TEP implantation and to record the effects of selected physiotherapy care procedures. Methods: This bachelor thesis consists of theoretical and special part. The theoretical part deals with a literature search to understand the structure and function of the knee joint from the perspective of anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics. The thesis also describes the problem of osteoarthritis and its therapeutic interventions, types of total knee arthroplasty and the surgical procedure for its implantation. The theoretical part in its conclusion focuses on the possibilities of solving the subsequent rehabilitation after knee joint TEP implantation. Author: Mariana Dohnalová Supervisor: PhDr. Lenka Žáková, Ph.D. Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient with a pertrochanteric fracture of the femur Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to search for and summarize the theoretical knowledge related to pertrochanteric femur fractures and to develop a case study describing the physiotherapeutic procedures used in the rehabilitation of a patient suffering from this diagnosis. Methods: In the theoretical part, data collection from scientific literature concerning pertrochanteric femur fractures, their treatment, and patient care is utilized. Subsequently, the various physiotherapeutic methods applied in therapy with the patient are described. A special section focuses on managing therapeutic sessions with the patient after a pertrochanteric femur fracture, including initial and final examinations and evaluating the therapy's effect. The case study was developed based on continuous professional practice at the Léčebné a rehabilitační středisko Chvaly from January 8 to February 2, 2024. Kateřina Maršáková Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient after Transfemoral Amputation Objectives: The work aims to summarize the theoretical knowledge of amputation issues and their therapeutical solutions, to utilize, document and evaluate these within the case study of physiotherapeutic care for a patient after unilateral transfemoral amputation. Methods: This study comprises two parts. The first part provides a theoretical overview of amputation issues and their therapeutic solutions, focusing on postoperative care within physiotherapy and prosthetics. The second part presents a case study of a 3-week physiotherapeutic intervention for a patient after right-sided transfemoral amputation, including postoperative complications (MRSA, Covid 19). The case study took place approximately 5 months after the amputation and includes the patient's history, initial examination, rehabilitation plan, 13 therapeutic sessions, final evaluation, and the therapy evaluation. Kateřina Maršáková Title: Case Study of Physiotherapeutic Treatment of a Patient after Total Hip Replacement Objectives: The aim of this study was to summarize the theoretical and practical knowledge about total hip arthroplasty and subsequent case report of a patient with this diagnosis. Methods: The thesis consists of two parts, general and special. The general part discusses osteoarthritis and its treatment options, hip alloplasty and rehabilitation related to joint replacement. The special part is presented in the form of a case report of physiotherapeutic care of a patient after total hip arthroplasty. The case report includes medical history, initial kinesiological analysis, short- and long-term therapeutic plan, course of individual therapeutic units, output kinesiological analysis and evaluation of the effect of therapy. Results: The patient's physical condition was improved in many ways and the goals of the short-term physiotherapy plan were met. As a result of the individual therapies, the range of motion and muscle strength of the operated lower limb were increased, the shortened muscles were stretched, reflex changes were eliminated, scar healing was promoted, and the gait stereotype was improved.
