Podněty svalové činnosti při chůzi a běhu na pevném povrchu a chodícím pásu
Čurda, Josef ; Šťastný, Jan (referee) ; Korvas, Pavel (advisor)
This term paper deals with the difference in the electrical activity of muscles when walking and running on a solid surface and when walking and running on a treadmill. The measurements are performed using a Cometa Wave plus multichannel electromyograph. Software evaluation is performed using EMGandMotionToolsv software from © 2018 Logemas Pty Ltd. Results are processed in MATLAB software from MathWorks (R2021a). The theoretical section describes the physiological processes occurring in the neuromuscular system, muscle structure and an explanation of the concept of EMG. The practical part includes methodology, measurement protocol, research questions, stated objectives and results of the work evaluated in the conclusion.
Validation of the MicroFET dynamometer for measurement of lower limb strength
Illek, Matouš ; Bátorová, Michaela (referee) ; Šťastný, Jan (advisor)
This term paper focuses on the assessment of lower limb isometric strength using the MicroFet2 handheld dynamometer in comparison to the IsoMed2000 laboratory dynamometer. The introduction highlights the key importance of measuring this strength to monitor the training process and identify muscle imbalances that may contribute to injury. Until recently, this measurement has been difficult due to the impracticality and high cost of available devices. The aim of this study is to analyze and compare the results of isometric force measurements made by the two devices, MicroFet2 and IsoMed2000, with emphasis on the validity and reliability of the handheld dynamometer. The pilot measurements were performed on the main movement of the knee joint, namely flexion and extension. Validity was assessed by comparing the measured values of both dynamometers. In this day and age, where measuring devices play a key role in the sporting world, it is crucial to investigate whether the portable and relatively affordable MicroFet2 handheld dynamometer can provide accurate and reliable results to compete with the IsoMed2000 laboratory dynamometer. The paper concludes that the MicroFet2 handheld dynamometer provides an affordable and convenient alternative for isometric force measurement. However, the possible influence of various factors on the results and the limited reliability of the dynamometer are pointed out. The paper proposes a new test method to improve the reliability of the measurements and discusses the results in the context of practical use in sports teams. Statistical analyses are proposed for further research that could contribute to an objective comparison between the two types of dynamometers.
Evaluation of the Financial Situation of the Company and Proposals for its Improvement
Šťastný, Jiří ; Daňhel, Petr (referee) ; Žižlavský, Ondřej (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on evaluation of the financial situation of the company PREFA BRNO a.s. from 2005 to 2014. Evaluation is carried out by methods of financial analysis, sources of information are the financial statements of the analyzed company. Based on the results of the financial analysis it proposes solving of the problem areas.
Swimming analysis using a SwIMU measuring device
Láznička, Jakub ; Šťastný, Jan (referee) ; Bátorová, Michaela (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the description of the inertial sensor for measuring swimmers. The work contains a description of the possibility of performing swimming performance analyzes. In the practical part, a pilot measurement was performed and a detailed manual was created containing a description of accessories, the measurement process and the methodology of subsequent evaluation. An external database in MS Excel was created to compare the evaluated measurements, used to sort data with the possibility of statistical processing.
Comparison of sensor and sensorless control of 3-phase BLDC motor
Drápal, Michal ; Šťastný, Jiří (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on comparison of sensored and sensorless control of 3phase BLDC motor. This diploma thesis was compiled with engineers from Honeywell, spol. s r. o. and NXP Semiconductors comapny. Theoretical part of the diploma thesis is describing princip of function BLDC motor and different methods of control. The testing of NXP sensored and sensorless application is done in the practical part. Regarding to the fact, that applications were provided by NXP, furthemore the diploma thesis additionally contains a state machine using sensorless application from NXP. Finally, the author is evaluating a cooperation with NXP company and he thinks about next possible cooperation.
Analysis of local DNA structures
Kratochvíl, Jaromír ; Trenz, Oldřich (referee) ; Šťastný, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the description and implementation of the user interface for the analysis of local DNA structures as a web application in the Vue.js framework. The local structure can be described as an alternative DNA structure which arises in a specific DNA sequence that occurs in important regions of the genome. The first part of the thesis is theoretical and examines the field of DNA research and a description of selected technologies. The second part deals with the implementation and testing of the user interface on specific DNA sequences.
Evaluation of targets in shooting range based on image data
Sujová, Sára ; Šťastný, Jiří (referee) ; Škrabánek, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis describes the design and implementation of a computer vision system for evaluating targets on the shooting range using image data. The program respects the restrictions based on safety measures established by the the shooting range manager and uses an uniform system of lighting and camera placement. The work consists of several parts. The first part is the creation of the dataset and its annotation. The second part is the creation of the program. The program includes a photo of the target, which is suitably edited and divided into sub-areas in the pre-processing phase. These sub-regions are then iteratively processed by the U-NET network, which produces segmentation maps that are subsequently combined into the resulting map. The positions of the detected shots are obtained from this map. In the last part of the program, a point evaluation of the shooting session is obtained.
The effect of operating position of the light source on the photometric parameters
Šťastný, Jakub ; Štěpánek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
The theses discusses how operating position and ambient temperature affect electric light sources. For the purposes of this theses, the analysis of light radiation, the description and the principle of taking measurements of light quantities are included. The work also contains the principle of function, construction and parameters of light sources. For each light source a hypothesized impact of the operating position of the light source and the impact of ambient temperature variation on radiated luminous flux are stated. For selected light sources a measurement of the impact of the operating position on the sources’ photometric parameters was taken. The output measurement data are being compared to the theoretical hypotheses. The conclusion of the thesis describes suggested recommendations for the operation of light sources based on both theoretical and practical parts of the thesis.
