Paneth cells in the small intestinal immune response
Dostalíková, Stela ; Šťastná, Monika (advisor) ; Věcek, Jan (referee)
Paneth cells are one of the cell types of the intestinal epithelium that participate in immune responses and maintain homeostasis in the intestinal lumen. Due to their production of antimicrobial substances and signalling molecules, Paneth cells have been investigated in many studies. This thesis briefly summarizes the anatomy of the small intestine and describes the current knowledge of intestinal cell types related to immune responses, with a focus on Paneth cells. The thesis also introduces selected mouse models used to study the intestine and Paneth cells, describes the possibilities of studying the intestinal epithelium in vitro using organoid cultures, and finally discusses the relationship between Paneth cells and inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and discusses potential therapeutic strategies for these pathologies.
Parent and Authority: Parenting and Respecting Parents
ŠŤASTNÁ, Monika
The main aim of the thesis is to explain the concept of authority in the family, paren-ting in families and its styles. I am trying to suggest how authority and parenting can help or hurt a child with the child's development and the child's behavior itself. The thesis is composed of theoretical and practical part, where in the theoretical part it is divided into two main chapters namely authority, parenting. The practical part is fo-cused on the research investigation by the method of quantitative questionnaire. In the questionnaire I deal with the topic of parent and authority, where I try to find out by questions how nowadays respondents think about the authority and behaviour of their parents (those who raised them).
Tax Havens and their Utilization by Legal Entities
Šťastná, Monika ; Ing. Aleš Michalec. (referee) ; Kopřiva, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on optimizing of tax burden of taxpayers via relocation of their headquarters into tax havens. It contains comparison of tax burdens of model taxpayers in different variations of change of their tax residence. It suggests recommended process for deciding about choice of suitable tax haven.
Nutritional benefit of cricket flour
Šťastná, Martina ; Zemanová, Jana (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
Edible insects have been part of the diet of many countries across the world for several decades. It is becoming increasingly popular in the europian developed countries, mainly because of the content of nutritionally important substances. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characterization of edible insects in terms of nutritional benefits, explains the reasons and method of breeding edible insects. For the analysis of nutritionally active substances, flour of house cricket (Acheta domesticus) was used. A. domesticus belongs to the representatives of insects legalized from 1.1. 2018 on the EU market. Of the significantly nutritional substances, proteins, lipids, fatty acids, fiber and selected minerals were analyzed. In this study, optimalization of vertical electrophoresis SDS-PAGE was performed to determine protein fragment sizes. In the second part the influence of acricket flour addition protein bars was investigated by sensory analysis. In the experimental part that was found that cricket flour contains protein, lipids and fatty acids in significant amounts. It also contains important minerals for human health such as magnesium, potassium, iron or zinc. However, the sensory properties of protein bars for consumers were not very attractive.
Proposal of property insurance of a selected business subject
Šťastná, Markéta ; Šimonovský, Jakub (referee) ; Martinovičová, Dana (advisor)
This bachelor work deals with a real property insurance of Regis CZ ltd. This real property is an object of lien within credit advanced banking house. The preamble introduces the basic definitions of insurance system and with single kinds of insurance products based for entrepreneurial risk. After that follows an introduction of a real firm, identification of an entrepreneurial risk for a bank credit and a preparation of quality data for an insurance demand. The result deals with a comparation and offer evaluation of given insurers and with a final recommendation of the best offer and insurer for a concrete needs of a client.

The first part is a theoretical one describing the financial analysis and the individual financial indicators that are used in the second practical part. In the last part are presented proposals for improving the current situation of the company.
The negative effect of raw foods due to possible microbial contamination
Šťastná, Martina ; Hlaváček, Viliam (referee) ; Němcová, Andrea (advisor)
Raw diet is the current trend in nutrition, mainly because of the consumption of a balanced diet with a high proportion of health benefits. The basis is the consumption of fresh foods that have not undergone a heat treatment exceeding 42 - 45 ° C. The topic of the bachelor thesis is the general characterization of raw diet, safety of possible microbial contamination and determination of important nutrients and active substances contained in raw products. There are described the most widespread types of meals, approximation of raw diet in terms of its advantages and disadvantages. Also, there are described the most important bacteria, yeasts and molds occurring on fruits and vegetables. By selected methods described in the theoretical part, some nutrients and active ingredients in raw stick samples were determined. The experimental part describes the procedures and principles for the determination of these substances, and last but not least, the real-time PCR methods, agarose gel electrophoresis and the method of sample inoculation for selective solid media that have brought closer the possibility of occurrence of undesirable microorganisms in raw bars and cake. Despite the large number of benefits of raw food consumption and products made from it, it is necessary to take care of its health also in terms of possible contamination by microorganisms. The risk is that the food is not free from unwanted microorganisms during preparation. This is the reason why the raw products are consumed in the shortest possible time after opening, because they become easily a nutrition source for different types of microorganisms due to their composition.
Characterization of lead-free piezoelectric ceramics
Šťastná, Magdaléna ; Holcman, Vladimír (referee) ; Tofel, Pavel (advisor)
This project is focused on lead-free piezoelectric ceramics which are meda in CEITEC. Behaviour of these ceramics is quite different from the lead one. The first part is dedicated to dielectrics and its polarisation techniques. These techniques also include the piezoelectric effect which occurs only in crystals without central symmetry. The following part is focused on piezoelectric materials, piezoelectric polymers and piezoelectric ceramics respectively. The next section of the project is dedicated to the design of an experimental workplace for direct measurement of the piezoelectric charge coefficient đť‘‘33. The experimental part of the work is focused on electric characterisation of lead-free piezoceramics.
