V této práci se zabývám pointou v animovaném filmu. Pokouším se ji definovat, pochopit její podstatu, význam a pravidla. Pointa je pro animovaný film velmi příznačná. Mimo jiné funguje jako prostředek k rozesmání diváka, proto se nejprve věnuji humoru a vtipu. Dále se zamýšlím nad uplatněním pointy a její nezbytností. Své teze dokládám jednotlivými příklady animovaných filmů. In this work I would like to analyze the point, the punchline, in animation. I try to understand its significance and rules how does it work and when. What advantages and disadvantages it entails. It is the means of making the audience laugh. Therefore I will discuss humour at first. I will mention genres working with punchline. I will compare punchline and gag and in the end I will quote some particular examples of punchline in animated shorts.
