V bakalářské práci jsem popsala svůj pokus, ve kterém jsem zavedla dramatické aktivity v domově s pečovatelskou službou v Bristolu v Anglii. Čtenář se může seznámit s lekcemi, které jsem odučila ve dvou skupinách seniorů, do nichž byli účastníci rozděleni dle míry ztráty paměti. Zabývám se chováním jednotlivců nejen během aktivit ale i mimo ně, popisuji prostředí, ve kterém žijí. Snažím se zachytit změny, které mohly hodiny dramatické výchovy zapříčinit. V teoretické části se věnuji různým aspektům stáří a zkoumám, co tomuto období může dramatická výchova nabídnout. Součástí práce jsou přílohy, jež ukazují materiál, který jsem používala, některé výtvory skupin a podrobný popis chování účastníků při jednotlivých aktivitách. THE ABSTRACT In this dissertation I describe my attempts to set up drama activities in a residential home in Bristol, England. The reader will learn about the lessons that I taught in two groups of elderly people, divided according to the level rate of memory damage. I deal with the behaviour of the individuals during and after lessons, as well as describing their backgrounds. I describe the changes, which might have been caused by the drama lessons. The theoretical section addresses the particular symptoms of old age and I seek to establish what Drama in Education may offer to elderly people. Appendices are included, which document the materials I used, what the groups produced and detailed descriptions of the participant's behaviour during each activity.
