Tato práce si klade za cíl prozkoumat vzájemné vztahy mezi filmovým střihačem a novou technologií, jejíž prudký vývoj v současnosti významně ovlivňuje celou střihačskou profesi. Analyzuje změny v zavedených postupech, ke kterým došlo nástupem moderních nelineárních střižen a zkoumá jejich dopad na střihače a střihovou skladbu. Srovnává filmovou surovinu a stále dokonalejší digitální film, především z hlediska definování potencionálních problémů, které pro střihače vyplývají z jeho zpracování. Snaží se hledat východiska z technického přetížení, kterému jsou střihači v současné době vystaveni. This work is proposing to study relationship between a film editing, film editor and a power of new technologies, which rapid development significantly affects whole editor´s profession. The work analyzes changes in estabilished editing procedures caused by modern non-linear editing systems and inspects their consequences at the editor and editing itself. One part of the work compares film material and digital cinematography, mainly from the point of view of casual problems during post-production based on digital film in non-linear editing systems. It tries to solve technical jamming, that is actually forcing to film editors.
