Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na zhodnocení vlivu lázeňství na jednotlivé regionální ekonomiky. Teoretická část je nejprve věnována stručnému rozboru publikací významných autorů v oblasti lázeňství a cestovního ruchu. Dále se zabývá historickým vývojem lázeňství a postavení lázeňství v národním hospodářství. Ve své praktické části se práce věnuje vymezení regionů, ve kterých je lázeňství významné. Poté následuje analýza vybraných lázeňských regionů na úrovni správních obvodů obcí s rozšířenou působností. V jednotlivých regionech jsou definovány nejvýznamnější lázeňské společnosti, na jejichž ekonomických a výkonnostních ukazatelích je zhodnocen význam lokalizace společnosti v daném regionu. Součástí práce je i charakteristika lázeňství v krajích ČR a komplexní popis vybraných lázeňských míst. This thesis is focused on the evaluation of influence the balneology at regional economies. The theoretical part is first given a brief analysis of the leading authors of publications focused on balneology and tourism. It also deals with the historical development of balneology and position of balneology in the national economy. In its practical part is focused on definition of regions where the balneology is significant. Followed by analysis of selected spa regions at the administrative district of municipalities with extended powers. In the selected regions are defined major spa companies, whose economic's indicators is analysed the importance of localization in the region. Thesis contains a description of balneology in regions of Czech Republic and komplex decsription of selected spa regions.
