Tato bakalářská práce popisuje možnosti aplikace MS Excel 2010 pro práci s analytickými databázemi. Důraz je kladen na vylepšení a nové funkce oproti předchozím verzím Excelu. Práce je určena spíše pro čtenáře, který již o tématu něco ví a chce zjistit, jaké jsou novinky. Přesto je v úvodní části popsán koncept a smysl OLAP databází. V další části jsou popsány nové funkce kontingenčních tabulek. Dále je popsána aplikace Powerpivot. Práce končí zamyšlením nad využitím analytických databází. This bachelor thesis describes functions of MS Excel 2010 to work with analytical databases. Emphasis is placed on improvements and new features over previous versions of Excel. The work is intended more for the reader who already knows something about the topic and wants to know what are the news. Yet in the introductory section is described the concept and meaning of OLAP databases. The next section describes the new features of pivot tables. Then is described the Powerpivot application. The work ends with a reflection on the use of analytical databases.
