Tato práce pomocí ekonometrické analýzy odhaluje a analyzuje determinanty návštěvnosti koupališť. Na vzorku návštěvnosti deseti koupališť v České republice po dobu tří letních měsíců dochází k závěru, že návštěvnost výrazně ovlivňuje mimo jiné i předpověď počasí, konkrétně předpověď deště, na daný den. Přestože je předpověď deště pouze v méně než třetině pozorování shodná se skutečnými srážkami v pozorovaný den, návštěvníci v průběhu času neupravují svá očekávání a předpověď hraje stále důležitou roli. To může být způsobeno racionální nevědomostí či vysokou cenou předání informace mezi návštěvníky. This paper reveals by econometric analysis the determinants of pools attendance and analyzes them. In a sample of attendance of ten pools in the Czech Republic for three summer months concludes that, among others, the weather forecast, specifically the rain forecast, for the day significantly affects attendance. Although rain forecast is only for a less than a third of the observations consistent with actual rainfall observed in the day, visitors over time do not adjust their expectations and forecast is playing an important role. This may be due to rational ignorance or the high cost of transmission of information among visitors.
