Předmětem této bakalářské práce je analýza výskytu přírodních katastrof ve světě se zaměřením se na území České republiky a Ruské federace a možností krytí rizik živelních nebezpečí konkrétními pojistnými produkty nabízenými třemi největšími pojišťovnami na příslušném pojistném trhu. Cílem této práce je poukázat na stále častější výskyt přírodních katastrof, které se sebou nesou nejen velké materiální škody, ale i četné ztráty na lidských životech, dále také na skutečnost, že v důsledku náchylnosti Země k častým výkyvům počasí, jsou rizika katastrofických události hůře pojistitelná. The subject of this thesis is the analysis of occurrence of natural disasters in the world and focus on the situation in Czech Republic and the Russian Federation and the possibilities to insure against the risks of natural hazards by insurance products offered by the three largest insurers in the relevant insurance market. The aim of this thesis is to emphasise increasing occurence of natural disasters, which cause great damage and numerous human casualties, as well as the fact that due to frequent weather fluctuations the risks of natural hazards are worse insurable.
