Tato směrnice stanovuje technický a organizační rámec pro využití archivního systému dlouhodobé archivace ve specializovaném archivu nebo jiné organizaci se zaměřením na digitální archivaci kulturního dědictví pohyblivého obrazu a je určena pro přímé původce materiálu pro dlouhodobé uložení, využívající takovýto archivní systém jako službu. Součástí směrnice je technická specifikace přijímaných balíčků pro automatické zpracování archivním systémem. This directive sets out the technical and organisational framework for the use of the archival system for long-term archiving in a specialised archive or other organisation with a focus on digital archiving of cultural heritage of the moving image and is intended for direct originators of material for long-term storage using such an archival system as a service. The directive includes a technical specification of the packages to be accepted for automated processing by the archival system.
