Předkládaná diplomová práce řeší úkoly spojené s vývojem nezaměstnanosti absolventů a jejich dopady na národní hospodářství. Absolventi jsou bráni, jako jedna z ohrožených skupin na trhu práce. Jejich nedostatek pracovních zkušeností a nízká pracovní morálka ohrožuje jejich možné uplatnění na trhu práce. Podkladová data byla čerpána z Českého statistického úřadu a Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí, které byly sledovány v časovém horizontu deseti let. Předmětem sledování byl vývoj počtu absolventů spolu s volnými pracovními místy pro ně určené. Analyzoval jsem výdaje na státní politiku zaměstnanosti a její strukturu. Dále jsem prověřil počet absolventů vysokých škol ve vztahu k celkovému počtu absolventů, jenž měl ukázat jejich adaptabilitu na trhu práce. Dalším výstupem bylo sestavení ekonometrického modelu, který jsem konfrontoval s ekonomickou teorií získanou studováním literární rešerše. Výsledné výstupy potvrdily 3 ze 4 teoretických předpokladů. Nebyl splněn jediný předpoklad a to ten, že zvýšený počet absolventů nijak výrazně neovlivňuje celkovou míru nezaměstnanosti. The presented thesis addresses the challenges associated with the development of graduate unemployment and its impact on the national economy. Graduates are taken as one of the vulnerable groups in the labor market. Their lack of work experience and low employee morale threatens their possible applicability in the labor market. The underlying data was taken from the Czech Statistical Office and the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, which were monitored over a time horizon of ten years. The observation was focused on development of total number of graduates, altogether with total number of vacancies intended for them I have analyzed the state's spending on national employment policy and structure. Furthermore, I examined the number of graduates in relation to the total number of graduates, who should show their adaptability in the labor market. Another outcome was to build an econometric model which I've confronted with economic theory obtained by studying the literature review. The resulting outputs confirmed 3 of 4 theoretical assumptions. The only prerequisite was not met and that the increased number of graduates did not significantly affect the overall unemployment rate.
