Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje rozboru koncepce územního plánu obce Bechyně a její platné změny. Ve stručnosti seznamuje s nástroji územního plánování, problematice udržitelného rozvoje a problematice smršťujících se měst (shrinking cities). Pro řešené území vychází ze zpracovaných analýz a známých údajů. Hlavní důraz je kladen na rozbor koncepce územního plánu obce Bechyně a územního plánu. Práce vyhodnocuje a dává do souladu získané poznatky z analýz, rozboru koncepce a dané problematiky. This bachelor work concerns with the urbanistic conception of the spatial plan of the municipality of Bechyně and its applicable amendments. In a nutshell it introduces the tools of spatial planning, the issue of sustainable development and the issue of shrinking cities. It analyses the territory of the case study and derives conclusions from the available data. The main emphasis of this bachelor thesis is on analysis of the urbanistic conception of the municipality of Bechyně and evaluation of realization of its proposals. Based on both the above mentioned analyses, it concludes that the valid urbanistic conception is based on false assumtions of growth potential of the community. This inevitably leads to disputable scale, function and distribution of land assigned for new development.
