Diplomová práce vymezuje základní pojmy včelařství a analyzuje vývoj včelařství v Plzeňském kraji. Jednotlivé části popisují historii včelařství, nemoci včel, produkci medu a vosku. Jedna část je věnována vyhodnocení cen medu za jeden kilogram za období od roku 2004 do roku 2014 v Plzeňském kraji, kdy toto je doplněno statistickými údaji s grafy. V poslední části budou shrnuty a vyhodnoceny poznatky vývoje včelařství a jeho perspektivy v Plzeňském kraji. The thesis defines basic concepts of beekeeping and analyses the development of beekeeping in the Pilsner region. Individual parts describe the history of beekeeping, diseases of bees, production of honey and wax. One part is devoted to the evalution of honey prices per one kilogram for the period from 2004 to 2014 in the Pilsner region and this part us supplemented by statistical data with charts. In the last part, there will be summarized and evaluated the knowledge of the development of beekeeping and ist prospects in the Pilsner region.
