Tato diplomová práce se zabývá zhodnocením účetních postupů používaných v konkrétní organizační jednotce Vězeňské služby České republiky. Na základě odborných poznatků a rozboru odborné literatury a příslušných právních norem jsou objasněny důležité oblasti účetnictví organizačních složek státu a zpracovány v ucelený přehled stanovených účetních postupů. Práce je zaměřena na prozkoumání dodržování účetních předpisů a stanovených účetních postupů ve vybrané účetní jednotce. Jsou objasněna některá specifika používaná touto účetní jednotkou plynoucí z její činnosti. V závěru práce jsou navržena řešení k odstranění zjištěných problémů. This thesis assesses accounting treatment used within the specific organizational unit of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic. On the basis of expert knowledge and analysis of professional literature and relevant regulations are explained important areas of accounting of organizational branches of government resulting in a comprehensive overview of designated accounting procedures in the selected entity. It clarifies some of the specifics used by this entity arising from its activities. In the conclusion are proposed some remedy actions to address the identified issues.
