Tato diplomová práce se zabývá technickou analýzou vývoje měnového páru GBP/USD. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a analytickou část. Teoretická část slouží k definování pojmů devizového trhu forex a problematiky měnových kurzů spolu s obchodnickou terminologií pomocí relevantní odborné literatury a internetových zdrojů. Je zde charakterizován forex a jeho subjekty, popsány hlavní zástupci druhů technických indikátorů a základních grafických formací, které se v grafech běžně vyskytují. Analytická část je zaměřena na formulaci obchodního plánu před začátkem obchodování, dále na podrobný rozbor vybraných zástupců ziskových a ztrátových obchodů, realizovaných během simulovaného obchodování na demo účtu u společnosti Bossa FX za období říjen až prosinec 2015. Následně je otestován vztah mezi úspěšností obchodů a vybranými použitými nástroji technické analýzy. Výsledkem je celkové zpětné zhodnocení úspěšnosti simulovaného obchodování a výstupem jsou poté formulace návrhů a doporučení, které mají pomoci hlavně začínajícím obchodníkům, aby jejich obchodování bylo co možná nejvíce úspěšné. This diploma thesis deals with the technical analysis of the development of the currency pair GBP/USD. It is divided into theoretical and analytical part. The theoretical part is used to define the concepts of Forex market and the issue of exchange rates along with the trading terminology according to the relevant specialized literature and internet resources. There is characterized Forex and its subjects, described the main representatives of the kinds of technical indicators and basic graphic formations that can be commonly found in the charts. Analytical part focuses on the formulation of a business plan before the start of trading, as well as the detailed analysis of selected representatives of profitable and unprofitable transactions realized during the simulated trading on a demo account by Bossa FX for the period from October to December 2015. Afterwards there is tested the relation between the success of the realized transactions and used technical analysis tools. The result of the diploma thesis is the total retrospective evaluation of the simulated trading success rate. The output is the formulation of propositions and recommendations to help especially novice traders to make their trading as successful as possible.
