[cze][eng] Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá literární rešerší na téma nízký a střední les v České republice, ale i v Evropě. Zabývá se, definicí nízkého a středního lesa, historickým a současným vývojem nízkého lesa, jeho rozšířením v České republice a Evropské unii. Dále se zabývá otázkou, zda a proč pokračovat nebo znovuobnovovat pěstování nízkého lesa, jaká je optimální doba obmýtí v nízkém lese, a jsou popsány hlavní druhy dřevin pařezové výmladnosti ve střední Evropě.
V druhé části bakalářské práce je hodnocena pařezová výmladnost na experimentálních pasekách v Národním parku Podyjí. Pařezová výmladnost je hodnocena u třech hlavních dřevin střední Evropy, dubu, lípy a habru. Porovnává mezidruhové vztahy v počáteční rychlosti růstu výmladků a schopnosti tvořit výmladky a to ve vztahu k průměru pařezu. Dále se zabývá rychlosti růstu ke vztahu k množství dopadajícího světla.
Při měření na 12 experimentálních pasekách po dobu pěti vegetačních období byla zjištěna nejvyšší schopnost tvořit výmladky u lípy (87% pařezů se úspěšně zmladilo), dále pak u dubu (43%) a u habru (32%).
Práce ukázala na znatelné mezidruhové rozdíly ve schopnosti tvořit výmladky. Neprokázala se ale závislost tvorby výmladků na průměru pařezů u dubu a habru.
Protože se nepodařila prokázat závislost výškového přírůstu výmladků na množství dopadajícího světla, lze předpokládat, že experimentální paseky jsou dostatečně rozsáhlé a zmlazující se pařezy nejsou limitovány množstvím dopadajícího světla.
This bachelor thesis is dealing with literature review of the subject coppice and coppice-with-standards forest in Czech Republic as well as in Europe. It is concerned with definition of these coppice systems, historical and current progress of coppice and its distribution in Czech Republic and European Union. Further questions of the thesis are, if there is any reason to continue or to renovate silviculture of coppice and if so, for what reasons and what is optimal rotation period in coppice. Description of principal tree species with sprouting ability in Central Europe are included in the thesis as well.
In the second part of the bachelor thesis sprouting ability in experimental research plots in National Park Podyjí are evaluated. The sprouting ability is evaluated for three principal tree species in Central Europe, oak, linden and hornbeam. The thesis compares interspecies relations in the initial growing speed of the shoots and the ability to produce the shoots in relation to diameter of the stump. Further the thesis is dealing with growing speed in relation to the amount of available light.
Measuring, after five growing seasons, in total of twelve experimental plots, discovered the highest sprouting ability by linden (87%), then oak (43%) and hornbeam (32%).
The thesis pointed out the significant interspecies differences in the ability to produce shoots. But the reliance of shoots producing on stump diameter has not been proved (for oak and hornbeam).
Because the relationship between the height increment of shoots and the amount of available light was not significantly demonstrate, it can be assumed, that experimental plots (forest clearing) are extensive enough and the sprouting ability is not limited by the amount of available light.
