Změna politického a ekonomického systému, započatá Sametovou revolucí v roce 1989, s sebou přinesla i změnu společenskou, spočívající ve změně životního stylu, životních postojů, hodnot a jednání jednotlivců. Základním tématem této diplomové práce je změna každodenního života v závislosti na změně společenského systému ve vybrané oblasti, konkrétně na Teplicku v severozápadních Čechách. Práce komparuje vybrané aspekty každodenního života ve dvou obdobích oddělených právě Sametovou revolucí, obdobím tzv. normalizace a obdobím porevolučním, volně přecházejícím v současnost. Stěžejní metodou výzkumu je orální historie, která pracuje se vzpomínkami pamětníků konkrétních událostí a historických epoch a nabízí tak pohled do života běžných lidí. První část práce je věnována teoretickým konceptům paměti, jejího výzkumu a každodennosti, které jsou využity při interpretaci výzkumné části práce. Samotný výzkum pak tvoří komparace pamětí a postojů dvou skupin narátorů. Narátorů vyrůstajících za normalizace a narátorů vyrůstajících v porevolučním období. The change of the political and economic system, started by the Velvet Revolution in 1989, meant also a change of society, consisting in a change of lifestyle, life attitudes, values and behavior of individuals. The essential theme of this thesis is the change of everyday life in response to the change of social system in the selected area, specifically in Teplice in northwest Bohemia. The thesis compares selected aspects of everyday life in two periods separated by the Velvet Revolution - normalization and post-revolutionary period. The research method is oral history which offers an insight into the lives of "ordinary people." The first part of the thesis is devoted to theoretical concepts of memory and everyday life, which are used for interpreting the research. The research is formed by the comparison of memories and attitudes of two groups of narrators. Narrators growing up during normalization and narrators growing up in post-revolution period.
