Práce je zaměřena na možné budoucnosti průmyslového města Šumperk, které se nyní potýká hlavně s problémem odlivu mladé generace a s tím spojeným nedostatkem kvalifikované pracovní síly. Výsledkem práce je zhotovení několika variant budoucností formou exploračních scénářů rozvoje. Pomocí tematických analýz zaměřených na strukturu a charakter města byly identifikovány hybné síly, které ovlivňují nebo by mohly mít v budoucnu velký vliv na město. Tyto hybné síly jsou v případě této práce automatizace a návrat rodáků. Explorační scénáře rozvoje mohou posloužit jako podklad při zhotovování strategického plánu pro město Šumperk, nebo výsledky těchto scénářů mohou být inspirativní pro podobná průmyslové města, pro která je také charakteristický odchod mladých lidí, či nedostatek kvalifikované pracovní síly. Scénáře rozvoje ukazují potřebu vytvoření takových podmínek a opatření, která mohou vést k pozitivnímu vývoji města. Díky těmto scénářům získáme představu o tom, v jakém stavu bude struktura města Šumperka za několik let, čímž můžeme snížit dopady hrozeb, či využít příležitostí, které se městu nabízí. Thesis is focused on the future possibilities of industrial town Šumperk. The main problem of this town is the departure of young generation which causes the lack of qualified workforce. The result of the thesis is making some future variants. They are made by exploratory development scenarios. According the thematic analysis focused on structure and character of the town we identified the driving powers which might affect the town in its future. In this case the driving powers are the automation and return of the natives. The exploratory scenarios can make an important part for making strategic plan for town Šumperk. These results can be inspirational for the similar industrial towns where is the same problem with lack of the qualified workforce. There is a need to create conditions and measures which can lead to positive development. It helps to imagine the town structure after a few years so we can reduce the impact of threats or use the offered opportunities.
