Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na včelařství v České republice a podává přehled o vývoji a úrovni tohoto významného oboru. Práce analyzuje vývoj vybraných ukazatelů, které ovlivňovaly úroveň včelaření na našem území, a to v letech 1993-2015. Jedná se o rozbor počtu včelařů a včelstev, produkce a spotřeby medu, exportu a importu medu a neopomenut není ani rozbor čerpání včelařských dotací. Stát si je vědom nutnosti podporovat včelaře formou dotací, a to z toho důvodu, že včely s sebou díky jejich opylovací schopnosti přináší nejenom pro zemědělství pozitivní externality. Včely opylují 85 % hmyzosnubných rostlin a poskytují kromě medu i další produkty jako je pyl, mateří kašička, propolis, vosk a včelí jed, které se využívají především v kosmetice, farmakologii a potravinářství. Zjištěné výsledky analýzy jednotlivých ukazatelů slouží jako podklady pro tvorbu jejich trendů. U vybraných ukazatelů jsou též stanoveny prognózy budoucího vývoje, a to na 2 roky dopředu. Součástí práce je i zpracování a vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření uskutečněného u chovatelů včel. Na konci práce jsou formulovány možné perspektivy oboru včelařství a dále jsou vyjádřeny návrhy a doporučení pro další rozvoj tohoto odvětví. The diploma thesis is focused on beekeeping in the Czech Republic and provides an overview of the development and level of this important agricultural field. The thesis is analyzing the development of selected indicators that had an influence on level of beekeeping in our country in the years 1993-2015. The indicators that the thesis is focused on are numbers of beekeepers and bee colonies, production and consumption of honey, honey export and import and drawing grants. The Czech Republic is aware of the need to support beekeepers through grants for the reason that bees are able to pollinate plants, which is welcome for the agriculture. Bees pollinate about 85 % plants and provide honey and other products such as pollen, royal jelly, propolis, wax and bee venom, which are primarily used in cosmetics, pharmacology and food (processing) industry. The results of analysis of individual indicators serve as a basis for the creation of trends. For selected indicators there are also set out forecasts for future development for two years ahead. The thesis also includes processing and interpretation of the survey that has been carried out among beekeepers. At the end of the thesis there are formulated possible perspectives of beekeeping field and there are also expressed suggestions and recommendations for further development of this sector.
