Tato bakalářská práce je tematicky zaměřena na operační systém Chrome OS od společnosti Google. V teoretické části je nejdříve Chrome OS představen a zároveň porovnán s jeho volně šiřitelnou verzí nazývanou Chromium OS. Poté následuje podrobný popis architektury systému a zabezpečení systému. Práce se dále věnuje popisu uživatelského prostředí a rozebírá možné využití systému, pro které by byl nejvhodnější. Zakončení teoretické části je věnováno problematice tvorby aplikací pro Chrome OS. V praktické části této práce je podrobně popsán vývoj ukázkové aplikace v jazyce JavaScript se všemi nezbytnými součástmi pro její distribuci společně s popisem, jak distribuce aplikace probíhá a následným zhodnocením týdenního setrvání aplikace v Internetovém obchodě Chrome. This bachelor thesis is thematically focused on the operating system Chrome OS from Google Inc. In the theoretical part, the Chrome OS is introduced and at the same time it is compared with its open source version called Chromium OS. Next, there is a description of the system architecture and security. After that the thesis deals with the description of the user interface and it analyzes possible usage of this operating system, where it would be the most suitable. The end of the theoretical part deals with the issue of programming applications for the Chrome OS. In the practical part of this thesis there is detailed description of developing sample JavaScript application with all necessary components for its distribution, together with the description how the distribution of applications works and then evaluates a week taking stay of the sample application at the Chrome Web Store.
