Obsah práce se soustředí na počty a druhovou skladbu ploskohřbetek rodu Cephalcia, které se nachází v horských oblastech nad 700 m. n. m. v České republice. Do šesti horských lokalit, byla na začátku dubna umístěna Malaiseho past Towsendova typu. V intervalu čtrnácti dní byl z této pasti proveden odběr, který byl náležitě označen a uzavřen v lahvi. Pasti byly na lokalitách umístěny do konce měsíce červenec. Determinace v laboratoři byla za pomoci determinačního klíče Viitasaari, (2002), díky kterému se určovalo pohlaví a druh. Určování probíhalo pod stereomikroskopem Arsenal při zvětšení 10x. Bylo odchyceno šest druhů ploskohřbetek rodu Cephalcia. Celkem se lapilo 2 148 jedinců a z toho samic bylo pouze 19. Nejvíce se odchytilo na lokalitě Bařiny v Beskydech, kde se našlo 1875 jedinců. Z celkových počtů lze říci, že se ploskohřbetky nachází v latentním stavu. Letová aktivita, která je přímo závislá na teplotních a klimatických podmínkách a sněhovém krytu, proto se jednotlivé letové aktivity od sebe liší v rozmezí čtrnácti dnů. The content of this work aims at the density and species composition of sawflies of the Cephalcia genus that can be found in mountain areas above 700 metres above the sea level in the Czech Republic. Six Malaise s traps of the Townsend type were placed in 6 mountain locations at the beginning of April. In two week intervals, samples were gathered from the traps and then marked sealed in bottles. The traps were present at the locations until the end of July. Laboratory determination was performed via the determination key Viitasaari, (2002), that helped to distinguish the sex and species. The distinction was done under the Arsenal stereomicroscope at 10x magnification. Six species of the sawflies genus Cephalcia were caught. There was a total of 2,148 individuals caught of which only 19 were female ones. Most sawflies came from in the location Bařiny in Beskydy, where 1,875 individuals were caught. From the total quantity it can be said that sawflies are in a latent state. Flight activity, which is directly dependent on climatic and temperature conditions, differs in 14 day period from the bionomic of the species.
