Bakalářská práce se zabývá informačními technologiemi ve zdravotnictví a to především jejich úlohou a využitím. Informační technologie jsou v současné době všude kolem nás, využívají je děti, mládež, dospělí, jedinci, skupiny, organizace. Prostě všichni a všude. Zdravotnictví je na tom obdobně, také je to pojem, který všichni znají a využívají. Tento dokument spojuje pro tuto práci dva zásadní pojmy, a to zdravotnictví a informační technologie. Popisuje všeobecně informační technologie, a jakým způsobem se využívají, a dále zdravotnictví, a to zejména co to zdravotnictví je, jak funguje ve veřejném sektoru a v systému České republiky. Obsahem práce, je souhrn zjištění, jak se využívají informační technologie ve zdravotnictví, zda jsou využívány sporadicky nebo pravidelně a zda jsou přínosem pro zdravotnická zařízení. V práci nalezneme informace o vybavení zdravotnických zařízení, typech informačních technologií, které využívají, jejich potřebu pro provoz, závislost funkčnosti a v neposlední řadě jejich správu a samozřejmě financování těchto technologií, včetně jejich integrace do procesů a samotné organizační struktury ZZ. Cílový stav a využití IT je porovnán u vybraných subjektů, které se řadí mezi největší zdravotnická zařízení v ČR a jsou přímo zřízeny a spravovány MZČR. Ze zjištěných informací, pomocí propracovaných dotazníků, je ucelen závěr a nastaveny doporučení, které reflektují světový trend provozování IT. This Bachelor thesis deals with using information technology in health care environment, in its particular role and usage. Information technology is currently surrounding us and is used by children, teenagers, adults, individuals or organisations. Simply is used by all and everywhere. Similar in health care, information technology is a concept that all know and use. This document brings together two fundamental terms, health care and use of the information technology. It describes information technology in general and how it is used, followed by description of a health care environment, how it works in the public sector and in the overall state system. It contains a summary of the findings how effectively the information technology is used, whether it is used sporadically or on everyday basis and if it is beneficial to the health care facilities. It as well covers what kind of IT equipment health care facilities have, types of information technology they use and what are the needs to operate it, functional dependency and last but not least their administration, financing and finally their integration into the processes and organizational structure of the medical devices. Target condition of IT in medical devices and usage of IT is compared for selected entities, which are the largest medical facilities in the Czech Republic and are directly managed and administered by the Ministry of Health. From the collected data, using elaborated questionnaires, the comprehensive conclusion and a set of recommendations are made which reflects the global trend of IT operation.
