Práce obsahuje literární rešerši pojmu nezaměstnanost. Vysvětluje pojem trh práce, co je poptávka a nabídka na trhu práce, kdy nastává rovnováha, jaké jsou druhy trhu práce a zmiňuje nedokonalosti a zásahy na trhu práce. Podrobně rozebírá související pojmy s nezaměstnaností, a to frekvenci a dobu nezaměstnanosti, typy a měření nezaměstnanosti, přirozenou míru nezaměstnanosti a vztahy s inflací, rizikové skupiny nezaměstnaných, migraci pracujících a přičiny a důsledky nezaměstnanosti. Součástí zpracování je pohled na činnost Úřadu práce České republiky a s ní související politiku zaměstnanosti. Druhá část práce obsahuje analýzu dat získaných na úřadu práce, Českém statistickém úřadě a z personální agentury ManpowerGroup. Při zpracování dat je analýza zaměřena na postoj Plzeňského kraje k České republice, vývoj v Plzeňském kraji i v jednotlivých okresech kraje. Na analýzu údajů navazuje vyhodnocení výsledků, syntéza a posouzení vývoje v dalším období. Prognózy do budoucna byly vyhodnoceny příznivě. The thesis contains a literature review of the concept of unemployment. Explains the concept of the labor market as supply and demand in the labor market, which takes balance, what are the kinds of labor market imperfections and mentions interventions in the labor market. Analyzes in detail the concepts associated with unemployment, and the frequency and duration of unemployment, types and measurement of unemployment, natural rate of unemployment and relations with inflation risk groups unemployment, migration of workers and the causes and consequences of unemployment. Part of the process is to look at the work of the Labor office of the Czech Republic and the related employment policy. The second part contains an analysis of the data obtained at the Labor office of the Czech Republic, Czech Statistical Office and the personal agency ManpowerGroup. In data processing, analysis focused on the attitude of the Pilsen Region to the Czech Republic, the development in the Pilsen Region and individual districts. On analyzing the data follows the evaluation of results, synthesis and assessment of developments in the next period. Forecasts for the future are evaluated favorably.
