Smyslem této diplomové práce bylo nejprve zpracování přehledu o stlačeném zemním plynu jeho charakteristických vlastnostech, záležitostech týkajících se bezpečnosti provozu, ekologickém dopadu na životní prostředí a další problematice spojené s využíváním tohoto paliva. Dále se tato práce zabývala provedením ekonomické analýzy provozu vozidel na stlačený zemní plyn vybrané společnosti. Pro danou společnost byl z poskytnutých dat vytvořen návrh řešení nového vozového parku, u něhož byla zjištěna efektivnost provozu na stlačený zemní plyn. Výsledky byly srovnány s běžnými kapalnými palivy, jako je automobilový benzín a motorová nafta. Dále byla vytvořena kalkulace provozu a vypočítána návratnost investice spojená s užíváním stlačeného zemního plynu jako pohonu pro motorová vozidla. The purpose of this thesis was first to make a survey of compressed natural gas and its characteristic properties, matters relating to safety, environmental impact, and other issues associated with the use of this fuel. Furthermore, this work also addresses economic analysis of vehicle performance of operating vehicles on compressed natural gas of selected company. A new car fleet was created from the data provided from the selected company. The operational efficiency of compressed natural gas was detected and compared to results with conventional liquid fuels such as automotive gasoline and diesel fuel. Furthermore, the calculation of operating costs was made and the calculated return of investment associated with the use of compressed natural gas to power motor vehicles.
