Diplomová práce se zabývá ekonomickou analýzou společnosti a její aplikací vycházející ze srovnání s konkurenčními podniky v odvětví. Cílem práce je zhodnocení ekonomické výkonnosti podniku a jeho schopnosti prosadit se v daném odvětví. První část popisuje teoretický úvod ekonomické analýzy a definice hypotéz, které jsou v práci na základě uvedených metod ověřovány. Metodická část dále popisuje ekonomickou analýzu a vymezuje metody finanční analýzy. Praktická část obsahuje praktické využití vybraných metod ekonomické analýzy ve společnosti Tank ONO, s.r.o., zahrnuje finanční a situační analýzu společnosti a ověřování definovaných hypotéz. Závěr obsahuje hodnocení a srovnání s konkurenčními společnostmi a s výstupy odvětví, ke kterému je společnost přiřazena a výběr nejvhodnější strategie. The diploma thesis deals with the economic analysis of society and its applications based on a comparison with competing companies in the sector. The aim is to evaluate the economic performance of the company and its ability to establish themselves in the sector. The first part describes the theoretical introduction of economic analysis and definition of hypotheses that are validated on the basis of mentioned methods in this elaboration. In the methodical part is described economic analysis and defined the financial analysis methods. The practical part contains practical use of selected methods of economic analysis at Tank ONO, Ltd., includes financial and situational analysis of the company and verifying defined hypotheses. Conclusion includes evaluation and comparison with competitors and with the outputs of the sector which is comprising this company, and selecting the most appropriate strategy.
