Tato diplomová práce se zabývá ekonomickou analýzou Velkoobchodu Heva, spol. s.r.o., který podniká v oblasti kancelářských a školních potřeb. Práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí. Její první část se věnuje problematice ekonomické analýzy po teoretické stránce. Na ní poté navazuje praktická část, která obsahuje představení vybrané společnosti a jejich dvou hlavních konkurentů, výsledky práce a celkového zhodnocení spolu s doporučujícími návrhy. Praktická část, která čerpá z veřejně dostupných zdrojů a z interních firemních dat, spočívá v analyzování ekonomické a finanční situace podniku pomocí metod vnější a vnitřní analýzy, kdy je sledován časový úsek v rozmezí let 2010 - 2014. Výsledky hlavních ukazatelů finanční analýzy jsou poté srovnávány s odvětvím a konkurencí, čímž bylo zjištěno, že společnost Heva dosahuje horších výsledků než vybrané konkurenční podniky a odvětví. Na základě nalezených pozitivních i negativních faktorů ovlivňujících chod společnosti byla sestavena SWOT matice. Na závěr jsou zjištěné výsledky interpretovány a jsou navrženy doporučení na zlepšení situace daného podniku. This diploma thesis deals with the economic analysis Velkoobchod Heva, spol. s.r.o., which operates in the office and school supplies. The thesis consists of two main parts. The first part is devoted to economic analysis on the theoretical side. On it then follows the practical part, which includes the performance of a selected company and its two main competitors, the results and overall assessment together with recommending proposals. The practical part, which draws on publicly available sources and internal corporate data lies in analyzing the economic and financial situation of the company by external methods and internal analysis, which monitors the time period between the years 2010-2014. The results of the main indicators of financial analysis are then compared with the industry and competitors, thus it was found that the company Heva achived worse results than competing firms selected and industry. Based on the results of positive and negative factors affecting the operation of the company have been prepared SWOT matrix. In conclusion, the results are interpretedand recommendations are designed to improve the situation of the company.
