Diplomová práce je orientována na hodnocení ekonomické situace vybraného podniku, kterým je Účetní, s.r.o. zabývající se účetním a daňovým poradenstvím. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části a to na teoretickou a praktickou, které jsou dále členěny na další kapitoly a subkapitoly. Teoretická část je věnována základním pojmům, uživatelům a zdrojům informací ekonomické analýzy. Zmíněny jsou také metody hodnocení finanční situace podniku pomocí ekonomických ukazatelů. V praktické části je obsažena charakteristika podniku, výpočty a hodnocení vybraných ukazatelů hospodaření, výpočty poměrových ukazatelů a zhodnocení vnějšího a vnitřního prostředí podniku. Součástí je také SWOT analýza, na základě které jsou odhaleny silné a slabé stránky společnosti. V diskuzi je obsaženo zhodnocení ekonomické situace podniku a závěr práce je věnován doporučením pro zlepšení finanční situace společnosti, ke kterým přispěly výsledky Porterova modelu. This Masters Thesis is focused on the assessment of the economic situation of the selected company Účetní, s.r.o. which is engaged in tax and accounting consultancy. The Thesis has two parts, the theoretical and the practical part, which are further divided into the chapter and the subchapter. The Theoretical part presents the basic terms and users and sources of an economic analysis. There are also mentioned methods of an evaluation of a financial situation of a company using financial indicators in this part. In the practical part it deals with the characteristics of the company, the calculations and the evaluation of the selected financial indicators, the calculations of the ratio indicators and the evaluation both the external and the internal environment of the company. This part further includes the SWOT analysis, based on which are uncovered the strengths and the weaknesses of the company. The discussion contains the evaluation of the economic situation of the company. The conclusion of the Thesis proposes the recommendations for the improvement of the financial situation of the company. To this recommendations contributed the results of Porter's model.
