Tato diplomová práce se zabývá sledováním způsobu a frekvence válcování jamkoviště na jeho rychlost na vybraných hřištích. V první části práce je proveden rozbor témat týkajících se golfu, jeho historii ve světě i v tuzemsku, také jsou zde popsány způsoby konstrukce golfového jamkoviště. Dále je zde popsáno válcování jamkoviště a vlivy které válcování způsobuje. V další části je uvedena metodika provedení dílčích experimentů a prezentují se výsledky těchto experimentů. Z analyzovaných dat je patrné, že rychlost jamkoviště se v průběhu dne příliš nesnížila. Z výsledků dalšího experimentu je vidět, že typ válcovacího stroje má malý vliv na výslednou přidanou rychlost. Respektive bylo prokázáno, že rozdíly v navýšení rychlosti, které způsobily odlišné stroje, se od sebe vzájemně neliší natolik, že by to mohl jakýkoli hráč rozeznat This diploma thesis is focused on monitoring of golf green rolling methods and its frequency impact on green speed on selected courses. In the first part of this thesis issues relating to golf, global history of golf and history of golf in Czech Republic are analyzed, also are described golf green construction methods here. There is also described golf green rolling and the effects of rolling. The next part presents methodology of experiments and presents the results of these experiments. The analyzed data showed that the green speed did not decrease too much during the day. The results of another experiment showed that the different types of used rollers have just a little effect on a final green speed increase. In other words, the differences in green speed increasimg, caused by using of different green rollers, cannot be detected by any golf player.
