Tato práce v teoretické části obecně popisuje konstrukční součásti elektrocentrál, jejich funkci, použití a základní rozdělení. Také jsou v práci zmíněny základní ukazatele, které se objevují v elektrotechnice a úzce souvisejí s problematikou elektrocentrál, jako jsou například požadavky na spolehlivost elektrické energie anebo možné závady na elektrické síti při použití záložního zdroje. Nebyl zde opomenut historický vývoj motorů, protože jsou základním funkčním prvkem mobilních zdrojů elektrické energie. V praktické části je bakalářská práce zaměřena na výběr vhodné elektrocentrály, dle určitých provozních parametrů, pro budovu menzy České zemědělské univerzity v Praze. Elektrocentrály byly popsány za pomocí firmy RENTAL, která tyto záložní zdroje nabízí. Závěr praktické části obsahuje ekonomické zhodnocení, kde je řečeno, zdali elektrocentrálu pořídit novou nebo si ji pouze vypůjčit a jaký je předpokládaný vývoj elektrocentrál. The theoretical part of this thesis gives a basic description of construction parts, functions, use and basic division of power generators. Fundamental indicators that play their role in electrical engineering and in the issue of power generators as such are also mentioned. For instance the requirements for the reliability of the electrical energy, or possible defects on the electricity network while using a backup power supply. The historical development of engines has also got its space in the thesis, mainly due to them being the fundamental functional element of mobile power sources. The practical part aims on the choice of a suitable power generator for the canteen building of Czech University of Life Sciences Prague, according to given operating parameters. The power generators have been described with the help of RENTAL company, who is also the provider of said generators. The conclusion shows an economic evaluation of the pros and cons of buying a new power generator or just renting one, and it also describes the estimated evolution of power generators in general.
