Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na využívání přímé demokracie v obcích České republiky. Výzkum se zabýval městskou část Praha 3 a místním referendem z roku 2014. První část práce je zaměřena na teoretická východiska přímé demokracie a jsou zde vyjmenovány a definovány jednotlivé její formy. Důležitou součástí jsou také legislativní zakotvení forem v právním řádu České republiky. Druhou částí je případová studie Prahy 3. Městská část je specifikována pomocí demografických a socioekonomických ukazatelů, které byly zvoleny pro nastínění podmínek před a po konání místního referenda. Referendum bylo vyvoláno zastupitelstvem obce i přes to, že prvotní iniciace přicházela z řad občanů. Součástí případové studie je popis příčin, průběhu a výsledků referenda. Bachelor thesis focuses on the use of direct democracy in municipalities in the Czech Republic. The research was focused on the municipal district Prague 3 and the local referendum in 2014. The first part covers the theoretical basis of direct democracy and individual forms of direct democracy which are listed and defined. The important part is the legislative confirmation of these forms in the legal code of the Czech Republic.. The second part is a case study of Prague 3. Municipal district is specified by using demographic and socioeconomic indicators that have been chosen for outlining the conditions before and after a local referendum. The referendum was initiated by the municipal council, despite the fact that the original initiative came from the ranks of citizens. Part of the case study is the description of the causes, course and results of the referendum.
