Diplomová práce se zabývá aktuální situací na železničním dopravním trhu a zhodnocením potenciálu mezinárodní železniční přepravy v podmínkách České a Slovenské republiky, přičemž hlavní důraz je kladen na komparaci těchto států. Práce se mj. věnuje konkurenčnímu prostředí na české a slovenské železnici, problematice kombinované dopravy a tzv. systémových vlaků a očekávanému budoucímu vývoji na poli železniční nákladní dopravy. The goal of my thesis is to analyze the current situation in the market of rail freight transport and to find the potential of the international railway transport of goods in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It is focused on the comparison of these countries. Main topics of this thesis are i. a. the competitive environment in the Czech and Slovak railway, combined transport, system trains and the expected future progress.
