Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na zkoumání nerovnovážných procesů, mezi nejdůležitější je řazena dlouhodobě se prohlubující globální finanční nerovnováha z pohledu mezinárodních toků kapitálu a vnější nerovnováha různých oblastí světa sledovaná na bázi běžných účtů platební bilance. Dále je práce zaměřena na zkoumání tendencí ohrožujících ekonomickou prosperitu euroatlantické civilizace z pohledu úspor, spotřeby a akumulace kapitálu také ve spojení se stárnutím obyvatelstva. Na tyto současné problémy vrhla lepší světlo také finanční, hospodářská a probíhající dluhová krize. Situace je chápána jako neudržitelná, vyžadující zavedení výrazných změn, aby bylo možné předejít výraznému úpadku evropské společnosti vzhledem k světu. This thesis is focused on study of global imbalances as they appear in these days. The deepening global financial imbalance as an impact of international capital flows is considered to be one of the most important. The study is also focused on other tendencies that could possibly endanger the future prosperity of the Euro-Atlantic civilization from the view of savings, consumption and problems with accumulation of capital regarding the demographic aging of the society. All these aspects are now more visible because of the financial, economic and on-going debt crisis. The situation looks unsustainable and needs changes that could be essential for avoiding a major decline of the Europian society in the view of the rest of the world.
