Tato práce se zabývá maltským hospodářstvím a pozicí Malty v Evropské Unii. V první části jsou analyzovány silné a slabé stránky maltské ekonomiky a nastíněn budoucí vývoj ekonomiky. Druhá část je zaměřena na postavení Malty v Evropské Unii a priority, jež se země snaží v rámci uskupení prosazovat. The thesis is focused on the Maltese economy and the Maltese position in the European Union. In the first part, there are analysed strong and weak points of the economy and outlined its future development. The second part is oriented on the Maltese position in the European Union and country's priorities in the group.
